Post by: jjwhitehead on December 18, 2013, 04:27:17 PM As i thought. But was just checking for other ideas on it.I mean if dogecoin hit $1 dollar or even half it would be a huge profit. And it is spare cash i have lying around.Ive been watching the dogecoin price. It seems to be going up 1/2 percent every hour or so..
@King point me in that direction 8) Title: Re: New to alt currencies.. 250 euro for 500,000 dogecoins..Good investment? Post by: MisO69 on December 18, 2013, 04:49:09 PM Alts are dropping since the BTC China thing. I would go for more established alts. Peercoin, Primecoin, Litecoin, etc. If you want to get cheap stuff then go for IxCoin. I would trust that one over DOGE any day of the week.
good luck. Title: Re: New to alt currencies.. 250 euro for 500,000 dogecoins..Good investment? Post by: nobodysbusiness on December 18, 2013, 06:05:21 PM If you really have your heart set on Doge, maybe you could affort to lose 50 Euro on it. Then spend the other 200 on other coins.

It is more of a novelty/fad. I would suggest you wait for a few more days for the Bitcoin related volatility to settle down then invest in Altcoin of your choice.
