People on youtube are saying the current market is being manipulated by the deep state. They are trying to control the market, the same as they did with gold and silver. Trying to get the weak hands to sell so the rich institutions can buy it up on the cheap. They don't loads of new millionaires who don't need to work or rely on the system being created.

There doesn't seem to be an end in sight and as investing in bitcoin and crypto is really addictive, time consuming, fun, energy sapping, exciting and distracting this is the perfect time to switch off for a bit. And its been quite nice not to have everything crypto running in the background of my mind all the time.

If we leave the cryptomarket then there will be panic selling of bitcoins and the market will die. IF this happens there will be thousands of people who will suffer from bankruptcy both the elites and average individuals. The best approach is to be wise since even if those whales are going to manipulate the value as long as we do not get affected then we will not lose our coins and profit.

Who are these people? Do you just blindly follow someone, because they have a youtube video? I guess in that case president Trump and Hilary are lizard people.

It's personal preference whether you want to take a break from Bitcoin, but I'm not sure why you would generalize this to everyone. I've taken breaks from work/Bitcoin and whatever else before.

Well if you are looking at it as an investment then it is highly volatile and you could lose your entire money down the road because things that not clear and no one is sure what is going to happen in the future. However, on the other hand, there is a possibility of developing something that will change the way we live today.

It's not about money but more about our lifestyle and values. I believe that it is happening for the first time in the history of mankind that we are able to trust a group of unknown people more than the familiar faces and such innovations never happen again and again. We are fortunate to find ourselves involved in it early in this century. Crypto and blockchain are much bigger than just a money market, it is the innovation to optimise the traditional infrastructure in almost every sector. However, things are in development phase and those who have no vision are scared about little Frustration in the price on the market wall. This is really very good time to exit from crypto if you are only concerned about earning money and if you have nothing to do with the core philosophy of decentralization.

if you are not a bitcoin person, you should leave as soon as you get a break-even, but for the rest of us, who knows the rules, we would like to stay.

first of all 99% of the people on Youtube are full of shit most of the time. they are a bunch of people who have found a niche and now are making a lot of video about it and trying to make some money from doing so. there is not much value to things they say.

secondly the current market for bitcoin at least is the best time to start buying bitcoin cheaper. you can always reduce the risks you are taking by investing smaller amounts and also you can always stay out and watch closely to buy in the real dips. but staying completely out is just not good.

Op hasn't got the better understanding about the market, because cryptocurrency is the one that is much needed for the advancing environment. In specific the cryptocurrency is truly manipulative, and for the same we can't say cryptocurrency won't sustain long. There is no need of switching off to something else, because bitcoin is not as other assets. More the usage more will be the growth.

telling others to get out (switch off) from the market is just as bad as telling them to get in. i believe that everyone should make that decision for themselves and then act based on that alone.

for example right now i know i can make profit from the shitcoins that are getting pumped thanks to all the dumps in top altcoins on top of the tables. and i also know that bitcoin will recover so i will stay in the market. someone else may not share my views and stay out. we are both doing the right thing as long as we are not following someone else like a sheep.

I do not think so. Fluctuations are normal in the world of crypto currencies. It is not wise to leave the market when prices dropped. You can regret it when the market is recovered. You need to use this moment wisely and make some more investments.

I don't think so, because most of the people here are only getting started. this is only normal let them do what they want. in the end of the day we are getting the most profit at all.

We are the age group who are witnessing the changing form of currency.  Our elders witnessed from bartar trading system to metal coins and from metalic coins to paper currency. 
Now we are lucky becoming a part of crypto revolution.
Future is of crypto.  It may or may not be controlled by governments. I think it is time to become an active part of crypto market with wisdom and patience without great.
 

Your title said one thing and then you just rattled about the fud that's already been cleared away. If you don't get it bitcoin cannot be controlled by any one they have tried it, media created wild goose stories but what happened Bitcoins stood it all, it went down but came up handsomely this is the perfect time to buy more and more bitcoins in simple words average it out and when it starts it bull run enjoy the moolah.

People on anywhere are saying anything nowadays. What makes you believe them?

IT is too late to shut it down not. Maybe it was possible in the early days of the project but now now. There are thousands of businesses are depending on the blockchain solutions already. If they kill bitcoin now, they'll ruin so many businesses as well. In other words, btc is now too big to fail.

Crypto is still in its early days. If you are looking for a collapsing currency, its FIAT what you are looking for.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear, I don't mean sell my investments, I meant keep my crypto investments but just stop checking the price and thinking about what to buy or sell every 5 minutes. :-)

And I totally agree, we are very lucky to be around when crypto and blockchain are just starting.

All the more we need to stick here because we know if its being manipulated then it will grow in a much larger scale. This is not the best time to panic and sell all your coins and leave the cryptocurrency market. You just want to change tactics, from trader to become only holder. There is nothing wrong in that, trading is very risky and stressful and can cause great losses. Although I do not agree with you that this time is good for "switch off" as you say, on the contrary time is very good for trading since price is moves up&down all time, and thus creates a chance for earnings. But for playing safe holding is best choice, 5-10 years from now BTC will worth x00 000 $ or or it will not be worth anything.

The weak hands panic a lot and easily sell their coins. This prove to be profitable by the deep state manipulators. I would suggest long term investments are always beneficial and productive.  ::) ::)

if you are a trader then when you see a drop like this you should know that it is a perfect opportunity to buy cheaper bitcoins. and if you are sure about the manipulations and see then early on then it also means you should sell before the bottom is reaches so that you can buy back there (remember not to sell too late) for example when you see the manipulation and dump starting you sell at $9400-$9200 and buy back at $8300-$8500 and make a profit.

 There is no reason to switch off from the crypto currency market because this crypto currency have future and we invested money for future if we go then this market will be empty and till then what we achieved based on bitcoin we will loss also loss this market because many of the billioner doesn’t want this because they wants to build their own system like facebook so it’s a foolish idea. Investing bitcoin is profitable for all. :o :o

This is totally your choice that you will switch off for a while from the market or not. But for the mass I will suggest not to follow this strategy . This will create a FUD and the prices will go down. So, for the betterment of the market I will tell everyone to stay in the market and deal patiently. ::) ::)

A market with a lot of potentials and can make a lot of profit if you are the one who can change everything. To make a lot of money, and turn everything in their way, so many giants and governments are trying to become control of it.

Bitcoin is a decentralized market with no central control and rules. There is no authority to authorize rules and regulation. The block chain technology is an independent market. The transaction is done independently by the users with the help of high security systems. So in that case the word “manipulation” cannot fit here. The gold and silver markets are different than the crypto currencies market. So manipulation of gold and silver market does not mean that same thing will be happened here. So be rational and hope for the best results.

Is it possible for them to buy all the BTC in the world and completely manipulate the market? Well if not I bet e it's just some rumors. How can they when there are lots of coins that could take BTC if it falls down. It's time to switch ON, not off. If we all distance ourselves from the crypto market, it will continue to run bearish. We all need to continue talking about it and boost its image on social media if we want new investors money to come into the market.

This seems too impossible to believe. Maybe they are just doing things to hype it up. Intentional or not i don't think it is possible, and to think about your opinion that there are millions of bitcoin users around the globe, would be impossible to shut down, and it only means they owned a large amount of bitcoin as if they are just playing with us with their hands.

Not a very good idea. On the contrary, now is the right time to invest in cryptocurrency. While the value of bitcoin is still below 5-figures. Because once it breaks the $10,000 barrier, one may not have enough time to react. Substantial profit can still be made though.

I agree with you. Crypto market is doing great these days. They are even making them work into space with blockchain technology. Besides, the price is at average stage and it'll grow up further. So, it's good time for the investors to invest in crypto currency because the price will get higher and they'll be to make huge amount of profits.

To some extent I do agree with this opinion. Really bitcoin and in general the entire cryptocurrency market has been behaving lately, as if someone is controlling it. For example, the price can simply fly up or fall without any reasons (news). Or stay at a certain price level and stay there for a long time. From a technical point of view, it is almost impossible to explain this.

I think this is not right. Look, decentralized market can not be controlled by single entity or country. So my recommendation is to stay calm and wait for the sunny days.

Even though it’s not being controlled, there is proof that some people are manipulating the market by by using fake news and FUD to make the faint hearted sell so that they can buy low but this makes the value comes down for everyone.

I don’t think so but if it happened many bitcoin investor are suffering because they invest lots of money on bitcoin. But i think the news was totally fake because of they want to decrease bitcoin popularity.

I always think that most of the people on youtube are just making videos about crypto trying hard to be genius to get more views. It is not about weak hands but people who dumps bitcoin everytime the price increases. Ofcourse when you are doing something it will be always on your mind to think of and always thinking about bitcoin has become a habit of people here who don't want to leave bitcoin.

Please don't leave crypto. Every single member counts. Huge volume starts from one and multiplied to hundreds to thousands and then millions. Maybe one day you will be able to grab your dream to come true. Just be patient.

Share your thoughts, why do you think it's going down? It's been sitting at 6k for so long and defended the bottom twice. People are actually very bullish in general and are buying much more than they are selling. You can see it by the price slowly going up for the last 2 months. Don't look at the highest or lowest values but the average.
Note that BTC is constantly being mined and some if not most of these coins end up on the market to cover the bills of miners. This means that somebody has to be buying for the price to remain at the same level and it's not doing that, it's going up!

Every season in the crypto space has its own benefit and advantage, this is the best time to keep accumulating good and potential coins as we are sure to have a rise soon in the space, then you can take profit on newbie who do not understand how the space work.

Dude, don't believe in everything whatever you hear or see in social media or youtube. Those youtube want to create panic and gets more views, so they can make money of it. Everyone doing this for their own good, for example, the whale will manipulate the price to get more coins and make a profit.

There is no doubt that the market of cryptocurrencies is under some pressure by huge corporations and very rich people and are trying to manipulate the market, but did you expect any different? That's exactly what the deep state would want us to do. :P I believe any market is only as strong as the faith and general sentiment of its participants, and the activities in which they contribute to. If we want crypto to remain unadulterated and fair (as much as it can be) then we must actively participate in and better the digital spaces and crypto-communities in which we are a part of.

People on YouTube are liars, they just spread false video with fake news. Ever know what they gain after making video ?  Actually they're earning online money with YouTube they make fake videos and publish it and they earn from traffics. Not to believe them always believe in yourself and crypto currency. Since its unpredictable so how someone can predict it there's no way to switch bitcoin off, its in our hands.

Don't negate yourself by stopping others to buy in at this moment because if they literally get out (switch off which you said), they'll just go with the flow and sell off under the panic wave that's currently driving the markets red. Mind well, we're giving this opportunity to institutions ourselves by selling our coins cheaper and when regulations will be levied, we'll be fucked in our own asses as they'll allow us to buy these things but with a lot of catch. Satoshi never wanted this, decentralization was the only motive Satoshi had in his dreams that he turned out true with his efforts, with bitcoins. I'd rather ask you to buy, but at ~10-20% more lower values (for any alts or tokens) because once the markets start to make their moves once again, you'll surely regret why didn't you buy and/or just sell.

Your assumptions are quite wrong and somehow misleading....perhaps, you havent fully grasped the workings of the crypto sphere. Upswings and downswings are essential in every financial market.get used to it and allow dips to teach you a valuable lesson and learn about investments in crypto.

Who are these people on YouTube? Are they somewhat influential? Please do the opposite of what these guys are saying. Turn your cryptocurrency game a notch higher. Convince your friends and relatives to invest in bitcoins. Things are about to get exciting.

This market is too small to die. Market capitalization versus forex or other financial institutions is worth nothing.

I also do not believe that the cryptocurrency market can stop at this moment but on the other hand it will grow strongly in the future, which is the current trend. I believe that in the years to come cryptocurrency will grow and become a well-deserved financial market because it really has wide applications in practice.

Investing in crypocurrencies can be very challenges at times with a lot of factors influencing the prices of assets,but they still are among the most profitable asset class if one is diligent enough to learn the tricks.There will always be manipulators,they are every where.
