Title: DO NOT USE dogespin.l8.lv - Unsafe and you will lose your DOGE
Post by: Aalesund on December 20, 2013, 07:48:45 PM
I made a deposit of 500 DOGE - http://dogechain.info//tx/afbbdb2d1420a6900c456a7d43de5789150f718a842b5f672d48531de91bd5ab (http://dogechain.info//tx/afbbdb2d1420a6900c456a7d43de5789150f718a842b5f672d48531de91bd5ab)
I played and won 40-50, total 440-450 DOGE
Suddenly I was left with 0 DOGE and my secret link appear in chat.
I think someone hacked the site and stole my DOGE.
So DO NOT use dogespin.l8.lv now.
It's unsafe and you will lose your DOGE like me.

we should have open-source games and play those, this way we will make sure the code is fair, couldn't find an open-source game yet

Aalesund, I refunded you almost instantly after we spoke via mail; no lost doges.

We have never failed to promptly refund anyone after any issue has been reported, even in cases involving a certain amount of doubt.

To be clear I am NOT accusing Aalesund of withdrawing his own coins and posting his own secret. His play was realistic and I just don't feel that is what happened.

However, I do suspect his secret URL was sniffed at his end. Aalesund, how were you connected to the net at the time if I may ask?

Of course I would rather you had addressed your concerns to me privately first and we could talk some more, but I completely understand you feel a duty to tell the community when something doesn't seem right, and I hope those who know me know I'm perfectly happy to discuss most things in the open, so let's see if we can figure out what happened.

Best regards,
JB
