Might want to change the title... came in here wacking it to .01BTC per.  That being said I would like two but not sure how the shipping to murica would be since we don't euro here.  I might want that 49 porter too.. again depending on shipping price/time.

sorry i was going over the payment prices, things need to be quite specific to cover the initial cost of 45btc + make a little something.

1-20 = 0.1 per unit (100 availabe = 10btc)
21 - 50 = 0.09 per unit (200 available = 18btc)
51 - 100 = 0.08 per unit (200 available = 16BTC)

total = 44BTC so slightly short of even meeting the total, any ideas on how to formulate this?

this is the thing with CXB's group buy, if everyone buys 5 x 100 units at 0.065BTC each the whole GB does not work and the price point becomes 0.09btc per unit.

More profit can be made if you let those pieces which aren't sold yet hash for you.

1. i really wanted to try and keep the amount of packages i would be sending at a lower level, jus busy time of year, so 200 singles is a bit much.
2. I have NO free electricity to premine, already pulling 4kw/hr at the moment and that only leaves me 1kw/hr to live with, preminer profit does not really matter though.

Will these units be running for cgminer or bfgminer? Or both?

I am actually not sure, I have seen a picture of one running at 2.2gh/s, maybe i should ask sushi for some details.
Maybe it's just the pencil trick?

I am in doubt if i will even have time to set any up, they arrive with me on the 31st.

I will pack orders and meet people locally, while all at the same time two of my oldest friends will be visiting from the UK. I will be entertaining them until the 3rd or 4th. All this together with it being New Year, i think you folks will have USB's in hand and set up before me, especially those who are in NL or collecting.

BFGminer is indicating an update is required for these devices, does LukeJr have a sample yet?   ..........   overclocking is for after delivery  ..........

jFYI, according to the user guide (https://github.com/AntMiner/AntGen1/blob/master/manual/AntMiner-U1%20user%20guide.pdf) you will need SMD soldering experience for significant overclocking. Keep in mind an USB device drawing more than 2.5W might damage the USB port/hub.

At this stage cgminer/BFGminer do not support the U1. You will need a modified cgminer version, just check the user guide where to find it.

And last but not least, in case you need the source (e.g. for compiling on a rpi), here you go: https://github.com/bitmaintech/cgminer/
Use --enable-bmsc as configuring option.

regarding the big red mark for my first ever transaction on the forums, all i can say is the buyer tried to abuse my newbie status and due to escrow, i got paid for the claimed missing unit. He then offered to remove the bad feedback he left me if i removed mine, obviously i declined.

the only payment option available is bitcoin and if you want to order just post back here and i will send payment instructions.

No details on overclocking as i do not have these in hand yet, apparently from what another buyer has said a few pages back it may take some soldering experience.

I'm presuming that, for your own security, you demand that you receive the payment before you send the USB sticks (unless using escrow of course)? After-all I'm a newbie and you can't trust me xD

If you want an out of the box experiance - I can provide you a (1x) RPI with a (1x) 10 Port Orico USB 2.0 Hub & Wifi Dongle + SD Card for 1.5 BTC.
This would include a RPI specific case with multicolour LCD / status display & latest version of cgminer (3.8.x) with AntMiner specific patches. You can use this device to mine without the need for a desktop PC & can still use the RPI as a general purpose desktop machine - running Debian, Linux.

With another 10 port hub you can use the same setup with 10x miners totalling 20 devices.

Of course elasticband himself sells 49 Port USB Hubs too :-D

I dont mind giving you the replica of my own SD which is a multidevice setup - you seem really decent / honest - I remember you from my Bitmit transaction - so maybe you can give me 1 or 2 Antminers in return cor the SD / effort? :-Þ

If the git pull collects all the relevant updates, then the default settings should work.
Other uses, ...depends how many devices you eventually buy, but normally I would leave the Pi alone to do its mining, just occasionally check it is still running, (from the browser log in)

The antminer is very new, so the drivers for CGminer may need further updates, BFGminer will probably be updated later this week (keep checking the posts)

bear in mind that rPi miners will not normally be updated before the PC versions.

If you buy one stick now, then you may still be lucky enough to get some more by the end of the week.(watch the posts for people receiving their orders)


I also store the login page in bookmarks and monitor it from my PC.

So despite the lady at my local post office telling me she would not process 20+ packets for me...most orders went out today.
Two which were going to Nordic countries required invoices so they were not sent today.
Some orders place later last night Nd this morning also may not have gone out.

I am going to try and take 15mins to update the op with which orders have been dispatched.

I know people want tracking numbers now, but it is new years eve and i am off out to enjoy myself soon, so tracking will come tomorrow or the next day, i can assure everyone orders went out today though

Just wanted to confirm pleasant transaction & satisfactory miners :-D

Met elasticband in an Amsterdam bar & collected 14x - doing wallet-to-wallet transfer - easy transaction & he is a genuinely humane + honest person!

Hope to socialise as well as do additional business with him in the future.

Miners are great too. Work as expected < 1% HW & quiet cool in normal mode.

Easy to overclock up to 2.2 - although I wouldnt recommend it as in my case I noticed gradual HW increase up above 5% at times.
Also in my case I incurred issues with chaining wherein "0A81" always causes N-1 than the total available - I believe this most likely a bad driver / coms code in their version / patch of cgminer.

Interested in discovering how to overclock to / beyond "5081". Any links / documents on the topic would be appreciated.

As aphorise says we had a nice & pleasant transaction in person :) Nice guy, great to talk to and he has a large technical understanding of what he is doing and how things work, more so than myself, i would not hesitate to seek his advice.

My 8 sticks arrived today.
5 sticks installed on a d-link hub and standard minepeon on rPi.  The power draw is 15.1 watts at the wall(hub and sticks).
currently giving 6.2 Gh plus 40% errors.

These will be fantastic when the driver situation improves.

No sign of mine - UK folks how did they arrive?  TNT or Royal Mail? 

The tracking says they're in the country since yesterday, but nothing appeared today or yesterday.  Any way of tracking them on TNT's UK site (the NL one is gibberish).

Because they arrived in the country yesterday, weren't delivered, and the tracking information is terrible.  But I assumed they'd be arriving here via Royal Mail, whch isn't the case.  That's all.

These boxes do look rather expensive, compared with the erupter ones.

Maybe we should try to sell them on fleabay  ::)

My experince with yodel - Siting at home waiting for a delivery, hear a van or sometimes don't, got to the door to find a "sorry you were not home card" and no van, card says please collect from depot 65miles away

I have sent over 3500 USB erupters round the world and never had any problems.

Labels, as stated previously(last time you asked) are written by my 5 year old son as i am trying to teach him to read and write. I am not in a position to afford real schooling for him, it is quite difficult as He like the Penguin in "Batman returns" has strange rubber flippers for hands, it is quite hard for him to write legibly. Expect your package to be delivered anytime in the next 2 weeks by some butter flying on a lab.

It says consignment number could not be found.

All i can suggest is yours is a smaller order than most others and is in a bubble envelope, so may be a different handler in the UK.

Hopefully you get delivery on Monday, If i remember your order went out on Friday, the first post day available after new year.

That should be right, but when autogen and the next command I get errors - do you?

Basic *nix build instructions:

I believe Antminer u1 requires a special version of cgminer with the bitmain drivers installed, not just any old version.

Can't say I'm seeing the same.  cgminer is taking about 20% CPU on the Celeron 847 NUC I'm using - once bfgminer is updated and I don't have to use that WinUSB balls, they'll be going over to the BeagleBone Black. 

I haven't tried overclocking the sticks yet - it took me long enough getting cgminer to play ball, so I'm afraid to touch them while they're going.  :-\

Just to confirm that these things work MUCH better using bfgminer. 

Check out the bfgminer thread, nwoolls has a custom version posted there.  I'm getting 16GH from my 10 units, compared to 11GH when running them on cgminer.

Full support should be there in the next version of bfgminer (which is due real soon).

And also will bfgminer work on Raspberry Pi.

nwools has a custom version, but It fails to load on my win8.1x64, I'm not to keen on loading on my win7x86 as it will sc**w my erupters.

you can run more than one instance of bfgminer in my experience. Start your BE's with one, then start the U1's with the other.

Okay, my antminers are now hashing well with my raspberry pi! Yay!

Thank you to the seller for providing a legitimate, reasonably priced product in good time. The only thing that could have improved is your choice of courier :P

Also, one last thing, did you check the receipt and cost for the packaging and post fee?

postage reciepts actually contain no valur just tracking details.

i just get one giant long reciept for each transaction cost from the clerk, so its hard/impossibke to tell without sitting down and going over things.

PostNL have shown me no problems in the past when sending all over the world.

My guess would be the busy mail season made the UK handler pass deliveries onto a third party..... the dreaded yodel.

The actual delivery wasn't a problem, just the inaccuracy of the tracking, sometimes it didn't work and all the error messages were in Dutch - even on the apparently 'English' site.

As for the receipt, I'm not too bothered as it's not too big an amount, so I don't need anything immediate. In a few days or so would be nice if possible.

Also, how can I leave you 'trust' the green stuff +5 underneath your profile picture in posts, and how do others leave me trust?

Sadly I didn't have time to recompile cgminer in ubuntu, so only around 800MH/s at the moment.
Today I shall do it.

You have the wrong cgminer version. Currently it's only supported in the modified one from bitmain. You can get it here: https://github.com/bitmaintech/cgminer/ (https://github.com/bitmaintech/cgminer/) as source code, or here https://github.com/AntMiner/AntGen1/tree/master/cgminer (https://github.com/AntMiner/AntGen1/tree/master/cgminer) as binary directly from bitmain.

I can second this. My order arrived in a bubble envelope. However, my tracking information was bad and often inaccessible. Elasticband is very legit and could have easily scammed me on my first order if he had wanted too. If he wanted to make money scamming, he'd have done it with a bigger order!

How do I overclock my U1 ANtminer with minepeon. My "rig" includes one block erupter, two red furies, one jalapeno.

I don't recommend Minepeon for antminer u1.
Not only is minepeon a small distro (meaning you can't do anything but mine on the rPi), there is no command line interface.

To overclock, you need to change the --bmsc-options in cgminer.
I suggest you load up raspbian onto an sd card, set it up, install cgminer and then you can overclock, and also do other things on the rpi (programs, games, internet)

The beauty is, the CPU usage of cgminer in raspbian is minimal, so in essence, your rpi is completely free to do other things on top of mining
