Yes, this is what doge has going for it, marketability. To all those naysayers saying that the coin offers no improvements and drone on about technical details, well how much difference do you think there are in most products we consume today? Toilet paper, orange juice, shampoos, and the list goes on.

While they all may have some minor differences in their characteristics, 99% of the products are identical to one another. What separates the brands from each other is marketing. Dogecoin had mass appeal and is already tied to a popular meme, while blablacoin with its Pi r squared difficulty adjustments once every Mayan baktun is well... you get the picture.

+1 sir. You are absolutely correct.

Dogecoin has the potential to appeal to the non-tech masses. I'll use Aristotle's framework on how to be successful in persuasion.

Dogecoin possesses the emotional appeal that every other Crypto lacks. All other Cryptos have the logical use (Logos) and the proof that they are secure to use (Ethos). What they all lack is the Pathos (emotions of the audience). Dogecoin has the ability to be persuasive to a broader audience where every other coin has failed. It possesses all 3 elements necessary to be successful in persuading someone to use it.

Let's look at it from another perspective ---- Real Wrestling versus WWF Wrestling (now WWE Wrestling - fake on TV). Which one of these draws a larger audience? WWE Wrestling of course. We all know (well most of us) that it's fictitious, so why then does WWE Wrestling draw millions of viewers from around the world, as opposed to real wrestling that's just plain boring? Because WWE (fake wrestling) with all it's drama has the emotional appeal that the audience demands.

Every other Crypto is like real wrestling - gets the job done but is basic and boring. Dogecoin also gets the job done, but brings a flare to the technology that a broader audience can embrace through it's emotional appeal.

With Dogecoin, there is a story to tell. Excluding Bitcoin (the father of all Crypto) what coin has a story to tell the audience that is emotionally appealing (make you laugh, cry, etc.) I love Litecoin and have mined it since April, but what story can it tell an audience about itself other than the technological aspects of its use?

For Crypto to succeed, we need to broaden our efforts to attract a larger audience. Dogecoin is just the first coin to use an emotional appeal to attract a larger audience.

There will be many other coins to follow that will begin to utilize all 3 of the elements necessary to motivate non-tech people to embrace them. But for now, there is only one Crypto than can do that -- Dogecoin.

I believe that Dogecoin can bring greater awareness of Crypto currency to a large audience and as such should be promoted on New Year's Eve, wherever you may find yourself.
