Title: Selling GPUs 5970/5870s
Post by: netxshare on August 21, 2011, 01:04:54 AM
First GPU up for sale is a HIS 5970 I have had this card running at 830/300 with stock voltage. Using Diablo Miner I am getting around 700mh/s with this card.

I have the box and the parts it comes with. I am asking for $550 plus shipping in BTC.

I will add picture of the box and other cards later on.

I also have 6 5870s I will be adding to this post.

Feel free to PM if you have any other questions.

This is the first 5870. This 5870 was ran at 900/314 in Diablo Miner it would get around 400mh/s.

At this time I can not find the box for this item so it will be a card only. I am asking $200 in BTC for it.

How long have you had it? It looks extremely dusty.

4-5 months, I think it's the angle and the flash on the camera, it looks more dusty in that picture then it is.

Nextshare shipped me one of the 5870's today - all appears to be legit, he gave me UPS tracking number and the tracking number says it was picked up today. Everything looks good I will update when I receive the card - it is scheduled to be delivered on friday.

I may be interested very soon if I can't get some 5870s from ebay. I'm VERY leery with trading btc for stuff on this forum since my first serious transaction on these forums was a scam and I lost $120, so unless you have some other people that can vouch for you, i'll probably stay away, otherwise I'm very interested.

Ok, my bids for some 5870's fell through on ebay. I'm currently in the venture of upgrading my media center + making it a possible miner.

I'm interested in 1 5870 for the time being and willing to buy asap, since someone can vouch for your legitimacy. I have the funds on me one way or another, but obtaining the bitcoins for payment may take some time (transfer from bank to dwolla, dwolla to mtgox, and mtgox to my wallet), so if time is not a problem for you, I can get that going. As said before though, I can also send payments via paypal, amazon payments, moneybookers, and dwolla as well.

Lastly, it's $200/each shipped? Or $200 + shipping? If + shipping, can I get a quote to zip code 54501?

$200 + shipping and shipping should be $15.

If I bought two, would you be willing to do both for $400, including shipping?

Texas, 77042 to a commercial address (I think that UPS and FedEx charge less for shipping to commercial addresses?)

I have a family member who works for fedex. I can confirm it does cost less to ship to a commercial address.

Bought a 5870 from netxshare for $200 + $15 shipping to 54501, used dwolla, currently waiting for dwolla to clear because I had to pull it from my bank account. Will update as stuff happens.

Free bump.

Jesus, dwolla takes aaaaaaages to clear. Sent payment august 31, and dwolla is -still- showing as pending september 6.

Edit: Dwolla cleared, waiting for seller's response.

Bump.

Got my 5870 in the mail today. It was a reference Sapphire 5870. I've yet to plug it in, will edit when I do.

Edit: Seems to be a wonderful gem of a card. Currently at 1050/330 1.187v @ 66c (76c vrm) and 487MHash/sec in GUIminer. Might be able to push more, or it might not be stable right now. It's only been about 15 minutes ;)

I would imagine so. Been doing 1060/330 1.187v and 491 mhash/sec. 1070 is unstable, driver resets within about a minute. Will update if it crashes, or if its stable after 24 hours. Around these points, temperature is important, and if it's a warm day, sometimes 1 or 2 of my cards have to be restarted with a slightly lower speed.

Edit: 1055 stable for a few days now, 489 mhash.
