Guys, anyone checked Phantasma Protocol? Their crowdsale starts on May 22nd and tokens will probably be distributed the same day.

I really like the project, I think it solves an important problem. When Sergio Flores (Phantasma CEO) created the NEO-based dApp for the City of Zion competition, he didn’t anticipate the surge of user demand which followed. Deep in the small print of the user agreement, you signed away permission to Gmail to scrape your emails for keywords, your social profiles to serve up targeted ads, the right for the networks you use every day to monetize what you have created a dozen different ways… And they promised to host and look after it for you, at least until the next time they got hacked or breached or taken over, when you could lose it altogether (just ask former users of Megaupload, if you think this can’t happen)

We trust these third-party services with everything from our precious memories to our most innovative creations, because the concept of cloud storage has created a dangerous illusion, that everything we care about is somehow not controlled by a handful of powerful corporations with no public service mandate or user representation.

So, with new privacy law on the horizon in Europe imminent, there is an evident hunger for an alternative. A way for users to genuinely own and control their content, where storage is distributed and secure, and creators are fairly and transparently rewarded. Enter the Phantasma Protocol.

Phantasma Protocol:

Phantasma gives you absolute power over who can access your content and on what basis. The Soul token ecosystem enables any distribution model, from a totally private email sent from one individual to another, to mass streaming in real time, all controlled by public key encryption. This ICO is getting a lot of hype just because of Shillina I have checked their Telegram channel and I was quite impressed that half of the community doesn't even know it is build on NEO. Pure marketing ICO, P&D incoming. And yeah they don't offer anything innovative atm.

There were some issues in NEO smartcontract so thats why they stoped the sale. They have already rised in about 30k NEO i think.

Stage 2 was fast closed (in 1 second) i tried it and was in the block with 444 transactions but only 60 are the lucky winners...

Phantasma a bit dumped for the last days. i keep all my tokens from sale and bought some more. won't sell untill i have price 1 SOUL=2$ ;)

Phantasma is not really doing well on exchange presently, i think it's time to buy.

It still trading like x2.5 from ICO price. But the good sign that the price is staying almost on the same level. Seems like it fixed on levels 0.45-0.55$

Without any working product in long term it will become tough task for this project to survive and keep maintain this momentum I think price will fall around $0.3 after some days so that I will keep my orders ready into this range maybe I'm wrong with my assessment about the potential of this project.

Actually, I'm surprised that this thread is not gaining attention from the community.
Their whitepaper is well-written, one of those that made effort to create a really good one to read.
Maybe their marketing aspect is not given much attention here.
I hope they will be successful implementing this platform.

Interestingly enough, the inclination to buy more Phantasma during this dip took the lead in my mind and i'm glad i bought more and didn't procrastinate. The bull run is inevitable.

A very strange situation in the market - the tokens of a promising project are traded at the level of the ICO price. I don't know what the reason is. But I think that now is a good opportunity to buy tokens.

I see a lot of similarities between LOOM and Phantasma, except that Phantasma creates its own blockchain instead of a sidechains to Ethereum (NEO in the case of Soul). LOOM is using sidechains and plasma to solve stability problems and security; How will Phantasma solve both of these problems?

Phantasma want to solve same problem as Loom? Its interesting.. but how development going? Loom has much more hype and interest (even Vitalik wrote in their reddit).

I was wondering about the future of Phantasma in terms of gamings on the blockchain. If your live video streaming is complete next year, is it likely that the chain could handle more complex games?
Since the blockchain can handle higher bandwidth, is it likely that the game would almost hit a 3D visual?

I remember he said that Centra scam, and in a few week later he said that this is a good project (probably they were paid him).
