Title: .bitcoin Top Level Domain? Post by: Elkuurbitcoins on December 27, 2013, 11:33:33 AM When I looked at a list with hundreds of new Top Level Domains that are going to be available in the next months (https://www.namecheap.com/domains/extensions-tlds/new-tlds/checklist.aspx), I was surprised not to see a .bitcoin Top Level Domain!
So I assume there's not going to be a .bitcoin Top Level Domain anytime soon. Does anyone know if my assumption is right? And if so, what should we - the Bitcoin community - do about this? There are of course unofficial .bit extensions. A lot of people have tried this in the past but there wasn't much interest.
