It's so confusing to google information like this because its spread out across years and multiple updates... I'm still trying to get everything in order. The official (.exe) packages does not contain all subpackage witch are needed be most users, and I had some colleagues complaining about that they had to download multiple files, install multiple times, and restart the PC they installing multiple times, so I started to make all-in-one packages.... And the worst: the official packages contain 50-60 MB of identical content (mostly the installer's core, 32bit + 64bit installer binary, etc...). 1,43 GB vs my 629 MB @ 11.8 :) Title: Re: AMD Catalyst™ Control Center / AMD Vision™ Engine Control Center 11.8 Released! And 11.7 made it very dificult to reboot my computer after a crash in order to remove the drivers and re install 11.7
