Title: What motherboard for 3 5870's? Post by: Cablesaurus on February 26, 2011, 07:07:38 AM I'm trying to find a suitable motherboard that'd run 3 5870's OR 2 5870's + 1 5970.
I do not plan on expanding past 3 cards in this box, so it seems a 4-slot board is excessive. I'm having trouble finding a suitable 3 slotter-though, any input would be appreciated. Edit: Unless a 4 slot rig might be more cost-efficient in the long run? Not trying to spend unneccessarily though. Title: Re: What motherboard for 3 5870's?
