Title: Project QikFury - prototype v1 Bitfury H-Boards in action Post by: goxed on December 30, 2013, 11:29:06 AM This was just a fun project to quickly cobble together working h-boards using Bitfury chips and blank h-boards. Each board uses a modded ISL8225M eval board regulator (0.84V), 16 chips and 16 capacitors and was hand soldered in 2hr.

The only PITA is debugging a really dead chip in the chain. Mounted PCBs will cost ~ 60-80USD more. Lets see when the chips are back in stock. Well I had a few empty slots to fill in my starter kit, and a month and half ago H-boards went OOS, and the only thing one could buy were chips. I got them manufactured through advancedcircuits as well as oshpark. The oshpark pcb's look dandy but are 0.5ounce Cu.
