Thanks to @Lavender and @Abdussamad for helping me set it up. I didn't find it that easy, so I thought I'd do a few videos to help others set theirs up. I am calling it Cool Storage because it is not on a physical separate machine, so I felt it wasn't right to call it cold storage, but I think it gives adequate security if you don't have a spare machine dedicated to offline storage, and is certainly more secure than using a bitcoin client on your main online Windows PC. There is no need to do this if you don't intend to spend your bitcoin for a few years. As I need occasional access to my cool storage (for spending), I feel better having a long term support Lubuntu installation. I have created a 720p HD video on how I "moved" my wallet from 13.10 to 14.04. Someone might find it useful.
