Title: Bitcoin Faucet transaction not showing Post by: scroll1 on March 01, 2011, 12:13:30 PM Hi all,
Just started out 2 days ago with the Bitcoin client. I have around 33 connections and at the moment 111203 blocks. I wanted to test out receiving a bitcoin transaction and logged into the Faucet site, and requested some BTC with my address. Could anyone tell me how long I should be waiting for the transaction to show up in the client. At present I see nothing, I would have expected to see it in grey waiting for confirmation. The client has been running for 24hours ( this may be too short a time ... ) on a core 2 quad cpu Q6600 with 8GB ram ... thanks, Wayne Title: Re: Bitcoin Faucet transaction not showing Post by: theymos on March 01, 2011, 01:15:18 PM The Faucet only gives out so many coins per day, and then all future "orders" are queued. You'll get it eventually.
