Japanese Crypto Exchange Continues Global Expansion – Now in Five Countries

A Japanese government-approved cryptocurrency exchange has resumed expanding overseas. Already operating in five countries with a plan to launch in more in the near future, the exchange aims to construct a global network of crypto transactions.

Building Global Network

Bitpoint Japan was among the first crypto exchanges to be fully licensed by the Japanese Financial Services Agency (FSA). It is a subsidiary of Remixpoint (3825.T), a listed company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

They are expanding into other Asian countries. That makes sense. I couldn't imagine dealing with a Japanese exchange being an English speaker. That is quite a language barrier.

Any company trying to expand in other countries are prepared in that kind of situation. But back to headline, I believe that their exchange will get users' trust easily because Japanese always ensure that their work are fully efficient.

It would be nice if these exchanges could broaden their territory into the US too, because Coinbase is going to the Dark side with their move towards establishing themselves as a Bank. They also need some good competition in the USA, because exchanges like Gemini is just small enough and regulated to be competition for Coinbase.

The Japanese are definitely going to be a global force to be reckoned with in the future, because they have the first mover advantage.  ;D
