Neither. They serve different purposes - GDAX is predominantly for exchanging fiat in to BTC/ETH/LTC, where as Bittrex is for exchanging BTC/ETH/USDT in to altcoins. However, GDAX is part of Coinbase, who are pretty shady in terms of insider trading and the BitcoinTrash scam, and Binance is generally seen as the best altcoin exchange.

My reference will go for bittrex. Just because it deals with all about cryptos. so you are supposed to be in the crypto industry.

Not yet, but they are planning to support fiat in the future.

If you are a newbie, Coinbase/GDAX are probably still the easiest to use fiat exchange - I just dislike them because of their business practices. Other popular fiat exchanges include Bitfinex,  Kraken and Bitstamp.

Really depends on where you live and whether or not you plan on filing you're taxes on crypto-crypto transactions, GDAX is good for buying bitcoin and some other alts for fiat, bittrex is more of an all around altcoin exchange.

Binance is probably best right now but there a lot of coins you can get on bittrex that you cannot get on binance.

first my favorite was bittrex because it have many altcoin to be trade but now i prefer binance that at the moment is the best in my opinion

Both of them have some notable points. But my preference is for bittrex. Because it deals with almost all the cryptos. And it is also easy to handle.

in my opinion at this moemnt, bittrex is better than others cryptocurrency exchange
and huge trading volume in bittrex is the main causes

Bittrex have more than GDAX
And i think bittrex is number one on altcoins

Bittrex is a more popular exchange in Asia, the CIS and Europe. Then the Gdax exchange is designed for the US and part of Western Europe.

For me, Bittrex is a more reliable exchange

Personally, for me, the favorite is Bitrex. He's just more suitable for me. But I think Gdax is also a very good exchange

Really I haven't heard about Gdax before but I just checked and I could see it's different from Bitrex in terms of what they are useful for, Gdax is an exchange for Fiat to digital currency while Bitrex is exchange for digital currency to fiat So we cannot compare them

I would choose Bittrex here even though GDAX is popular too in Western Countries. But if you going to pick a good quality altcoins then Bittrex is the choice for altcoin community. Try to compare this exchanges and give us info.

Not one or the other. They fill distinctive needs - GDAX is overwhelmingly to exchange fiat in to bitcoin, eth or ltc .Whereas Bittrex is for trading btc, eth or usdt in to altcoin. Be that as it may, GDAX is a piece of coin base, which are quite shady regarding insider exchanging and the bitcoin, Binance is for the most part observed as the best altcoin trade. It is up to you now.

The volume of coin that is being traded with Bittrex is much higher compare to Gdax and Bittrex is now a trusted exchange which you can find a lot more secure compare to a new exchange. It's easy to trade with Bittrex though the fees is quiet high but I still go with this exchange.

Bittrex is more better in terms of technical support and quick trading

Gdax is bitcoin exchange site and bittrex is an altcoin exchange site. GDAX is much better rather than bittrex. As an altcoin exchange site and bittrex has been loosing a lot of the trust from the traders.
The reputation of the bittrex exchange site has getting a lot of decrease since there was a lot of problems between the bittrex and its users.

Each exchanger has different approaches. We can use both or specific one as our needs and choice. Mine is bittrex.  Coz Im a crypto trader. I do not involve much with fiat currencies.

It is not to reasonable compare a fiat/crypto exchange with an altcoins exchange. However, I would choose Bittrex over GDAX as the answer for OP's question as it has lot of trading pairs. Another reason is GDAX operates in few countries at the moment because they should have the legal authority to do so (Involving fiat means they need to comply with the laws and regulations). GDAX doesn't operate in my country too. In other hand Bittrex is just an altcoins exchange which means no fiat involved. They operate in most of countries.

If I give a general answer, I would choose Binance as my favorite altcoins exchange and Bitstamp as the fiat/crypto exchange.

I consider bittrex only for one reason and that is the volume that gets driven into the exchange. Its huge so you dont have to wait for your order get executed at all times. You just place the bid and mostly it gets filled as someone will always be there to buy or sell at the same rate as you are making the trade. So that is why first preference to the Bittrex only. However recently I have started using the Binance also, just adding up that as it is getting even better than these two exchanges so if you wanna get started with the crypto then thats the best place to get started with.

I would go for bittrex. I have previously used bittrex. It provides a wide range of facilities and is also secure.

since GDAX is from Coinbase so it is more popular . but on Bittrex you can trade many altcoins .
personally i like and prefer binance over all these exchanges . if tokens not available on binance then can try idex , kucoin also .

I don't have much ideas about these two. I would suggest you to search at google and study about it. There're a lot of websites and videos regarding this matter. So, do a little bit of research on it. ::) ::)

When it comes to volume no doubt Bittrex would really have the edge on here and when it comes into number of altcoins then Bittrex do have it unlike GDAX which is somehow limited and as being said it is similar to coinbase where do involve with Fiat trading. They do have eventually had their own purposes.
I dont know whats your actual point on here. So what now if you do only have account in bittrex? You are not totally answering on the things being asked on OP.

I suggest you to join with bittrex because they connected with cryptos. They also doing well in the market.

I will like to suggest you go with bittrex as they have good technical support, provide wide range of facilities and is secure, you can trade many altcoin on this platform. The volume of coin that is being traded with Bittrex is much higher compare to Gdax.

I like Bittrex, but as a lot of members told before GDAX and Bittrex are different. If you want to by BTC better go to GDAX. If alts - Bittrex.

I also prefer Bittrex over Gdax, as Bittrex is trusted for years and established its reputation as a leading cryptocurrency exchange due to its security and interface, that why I prefer bittrex

For me, for a long time, I used an exchange site.
bittrex is more suitable for me. also since they must verify KYC for all member joined.
altough sometimes,deposit and withdrawal take a more time to waiting.

I prefer bittrex because Bittrex is also known for having several categories of trading markets. All of their supported coins can be traded in bitcoin, which will always be the biggest market for any altcoin. In addition, where currencies can be traded against Ethereal. For now, the market is very limited, and no trading partner sees any volume.

I think bittrex is better because it has a complete trading pair and trading volume of coins / tokens in bittrex is very big compared to the Gdax of course

I personally prefer bittrex, in bittrex there are many kinds of alt available and for me bittrex is easier to use, especially for beginners.

if you have to choose I will choose bittrex because bittrex has been believed for a long time and until now there is no complaint whatsoever regarding anything in bittrex. and security is so awake that makes people comfortable to be in bittrex.

I also think that Bitrix decent exchange now added the Fiat (USD). therefore, the volume and popularity of the exchange will increase

i wanted to know the same answers, so after looking for peoples opinion, most of them suggested bittre actually, as it is more connected to the crypto industry. but i would suggest you to do your research by your own.      

I think bittrex is better, because bittrex trading is always in the top.

hi friends, i suggest to binance because of the huge exchange volume in the binance and also the many who have big gain in the binance.

if u compare Gdax and Bittrex then bittrex is expanding the market in a large way and more new features are adding up i prefer bittrex rather than Gdax

As far as I know, these two crypto-exchange exchanges have different purposes. So choose which one is the best way to choose which is better fork or spoon
