Title: question about accepting credit cards online
Post by: Duane Vick on January 08, 2014, 04:59:50 AM
Is it possible to limit credit card transactions on a website such that a first time customer could only spend a smaller amount? Could such restriction be lifted automatically after, say, 30 days? Also, could someone be limited to only one transaction on such account with that card during that same period? Is it possible to limit credit card acceptance to only those transactions where the delivery address matches the billing address?

Yes, of course. It is possible.

Just a small coding, and it will be perfect.

Like when a person sign up for your ecommerce store, and then he can be moved into default newbie group, and keep restrictions. So you can keep default amount of limit on his orders, and then also you can keep such a restriction lift that after certain xx days, he can place more orders.

It is all possible, which big players do for their ecommerce stores.
