We Lotto-coiner's bid you greetings, & well wishes for the new year. These are certainly exciting times to be in crypto-currency! As Bitcoin rides the wave of greater public awareness, we are convinced that altcoins that take advantage of, & ride this wave of public interest, have an incredible opportunity to succeed.

We believe this year will be the year of 'alternative currencies' & we intend to make Lottocoin the coin of choice. It will be a tough journey, however we are committed to the task at hand. We feel we have not only the right coin, but the right team, to put Lottocoin at the front of the pack. With the continued support of many of you already, we know we can make it. To this end, we hope many of you will join us on what we hope will be a magical ride into the future.

In this post we intend to announce something new for Lottocoin, as well as provide you with a brief summary of where Lottocoin stands in the bigger picture. Additionally we will give you a glimpse of what is to come.

So first we will start by announcing a BRAND NEW LOGO for Lottocoin. Its design incorporates the number '8' (considered a prosperous number by the Chinese) and a variety of colors, in keeping with the colorful 'lotto' ball theme.

We feel this will perfectly represent Lottocoin as we move into new markets, including those in the Chinese community.


"The state of play so far.."

Lottocoin was only announced to the public 3 short weeks ago, yet its feats in that short time have been nothing short of astounding. There has probably never been an altcoin released to date that has achieved so much in so short a time frame. Of that we are proud.

Lottocoin's accomplishments so far include:

- A healthy mining network of 2 Gh's/sec (securing the network)
- A new wallet with updated checkpoints (adding further security)
- Trading on Cryptsy exchange
- Accepted on numerous online game sites
- Explosive community support & growth
- All bounties accepted & paid out
- Our own forum at lottocoin.org
- 1,530 likes on Facebook

"Moving forward.."

We have a new homepage under construction. Below is an abbreviated 'sneak preview'of its progress so far (we dont want to give too much away at this stage). The block counter and market price graph we hope to have working and updating in 'real-time' once it goes live!

Our plans for the future include (but are not limited to):

- Moving into the Chinese market (LOT is already trading on 1 chinese exchange)
- More, and bigger gaming sites (an even bigger variety of games & ways to win)
- More promotions & give-aways

We also have several other major projects underway, but I am unable to divulge any info at this stage (It has been suggested that if I do, I may wake one morning with a lotto ball stuck in my throat..  :( )

To make Lottocoin THE future of eGaming

Our goal is to make Lottocoin the choice for gambling, as Bitcoin is the choice for purchasing. Online gambling requires fast transactions. The Bitcoin gambling market is huge, but its technology is slow. This is where Lottocoin can shine. It is FAST and EASY to transact. This is a niche in the market we believe we can grasp and more importantly - hold. Time is of the essence in this regard however so we intend to move fast in capturing a greater share of the gambling market while crypto is still in its 'infancy' stage. In doing so, we hope to have a major foothold in the gambling market as public awareness unfolds, to become the 'premier' coin of choice for online gaming. To this end, we have already teamed with Rapidballs.eu who have taken a vested interest in Lottocoin. We have quickly formed a strong bond, investing in each other, and we will continue to work together on a daily basis to make that bond even stronger for us both and the community alike, without whom we would be but a name.

So thats it for now. We will continue to forge ahead. Every day our 'team' formulates new ideas & ways to use Lottocoin, and to promote it, and most importantly, to have FUN with it. For that was its original purpose. A coin anyone and everyone can have fun with, transact with, and ENJOY.
