millionaire in 2018. Well in 2017 if you bought at the

If you have invested around 500k,think ripple can make x2 this year,but not much.Doubt that btc will get anothet bullrun this year .If we will break the resistance next pick will be 11700 or close to that

Bit of a vague question, the way things are looking right now it's hard to expect more than 5x from Ripple, so 200k will get you there possibly.
If BTC goes over 30k I think XRP can hit $5.

Have to remember this coin may appear cheap at a cost per coin price, but it's market cap is huge and no coin has the ability to surpass the BTC market cap in my eyes.

You could look at it this way:

XRP current cap is $27 billion
BTC is $144 billion

Difference of roughly 5.3x

Last year at both their peaks:
BTC = 300 billion
XRP = $128 billion

Difference of about 2.3x

So let's say if XRP can get back to 2.5x difference to BTC it'll look roughly like this

BTC at $10k = $170 billion cap
Leaving XRP at $68 billion cap with a price of $1.73 per coin
2.5x from current price

BTC at $20k = $340 billion cap
Leaving XRP at $136 billion cap and $3.46 per coin
5x from current price

BTC at $30k = $510 billion cap
Leaving XRP at $204 billion cap and $5.19 per coin
7.5x from current price

That's a rough way to look at it and assumes XRP can have a big run again, 10x+ is very optimistic in my eyes, 5x probably more likely.

Who knows what could happen though, many are predicting higher than $30k for BTC this year, I'm on the fence, the FOMO last year was absolutely crazy and this year it's just not the same, the desire to buy it has dropped a lot and we're nearly at mid year, it's going to be a lot harder to go from $10k to $20k compared to $1k to $2k.

For me, XRP is not a great coin to invest in based on the current market, but not the worst either at it's current price.
If you want to make big money this year without investing a ton, you'll need to take a bit more risk and get multiple wins I think.

Just my 2c, I know many others will disagree and are still very optimistic for 20x+ for the top 5-10 coins.

The hype period of ripple has already ended, I know some platforms which has been developer a better platform with better scalability compared with ripple. The new platforms are using more than a few thousands TPS. It's already enough to give a really strict competition to the ripple.

any altcoin that can be pumped can also make you a millionaire but also at the same time any altcoin that can be pumped will also be dumped and will make you broke if you stick around in it for too long.

if you look at the market (coinmarketcap.com for instance) you can see the pumps are all around us and each of them can contribute to your millionaire goal if you are good at trading in this chaotic market.

They have possibility that you become millionaire in ripple , but you need thousands of ripple because for me the possible price of this coin in this year 2018 probably between 50-100 dollars each. But better if takes few more years because we need more time to reach the goal price. But invest only the extra money because you don't know what is happen.

IMO every cryptocurrency can make you become a millionaire as long as you can find out good time to invest in :). Of course XRP can make you rich if you can catch the best time when XRP dumped to the lowest price to join. But it's not easy cause you're not the only trader :))

Last year, there are so many people became millionaire because of investing in XRP so I think in this year, it'll be the same and there will be a lot of another persons can become miliionaire because of XRP :)). How? I think ripple cannot make one a millionaire in the future but it is not that bad of a coin to invest into. In fact, it is still profitable to invest in it, but I doubt if it will do a mega pump to the moon in the future wherein it will reach prices above 4$+ giving way for a new batch of millionaires. Nevertheless, it is not bad to hold it now, and hope for it to go to the moon(because there is still a chance of it happening but it is low).

With the current price of ripple, I think if you invest $500 or more and the price experience a rapid growth, you should be a millionaire by the end of 2018 but if not, I don't think there is chance of becoming one this year though ripple is also a profitable coin to invest in but with the recent situation of the market, maybe in 2019, you can become a millionaire with you investment in ripple.

It's the 2nd quarter of the year so saying that there will be no bull run isn't new. We've been tired of waiting for almost 5 consecutive months for this year and still we get nothing. It may not move back and stay on the ceiling but Ripple is also depending to bitcoin. I doubt Ripple but I'm more bullish and optimistic with bitcoin. A coiner would certainly they are tired of Ripple after the dumped so your conclusion about bitcoin is contradicting with what you believe in Ripple.

there are two possibilities if you invest a lot of your money on Ripple this year "Ripple can make you a millionaire or Ripple can make you bankrupt", personally I'm not interested to invest in a centralized currency that has 100 billion of maximum supply because there are still many coins that have innovative projects

With such a large supply there is a need to invest a lot of money. And I doubt so much whether buying a ripple can double the invested money. There are many better coins to invest than ripple on the market.

If you buy ripple you can double your invested money but how many months or years it will take that I don't know. one thing is sure if you want to become a millionaire to invest in ripple then you must need a big capital.

If what you are expecting is to multifold your investment then I don't think ripple is your coin. Sure it can double or triple but I don't think it will do a 10x from here.

What makes you doubting another bull run this year? In the past, when financial institutions like American Express announced to use Ripple, we saw certain spikes. Downside is the large token supply though.

Ripple owns too many coins, and they can dump them at any time they want. This is the bad part of being a centralised coin. I wouldn't advice to invest into XRP, there are many better options out there.

If you have around 30k coins and wait for 2020 its highly possible to be a millionaire by end of 2020. The market cap of Ripple is ridiculous high. In my opinion, the coin will drop even more in the near future.

Total supply of 100 mil won't make you millionaire this year. You can make 2-5 x on XRP , but nothing more. Another option: if you have billion and then ripple will make you millionaire  :)
Remember that price don't grow constantly and think about risks and potential outcomes before you enter cryptomarket.

Yes there are many better option and surely will give you a huge profits but did you see the good performance of ripple in the market and also I believe it have a great potential to growth more in the future. very funny... Ripple can make millioners only people who bought back the at 0.003$.  I think top for ripple for  2018 is 2$. Don't forget fact that almost 90% of Ripple concentrated in hands of the developers and they can easily manipulate the price.

For myself it's a NO since I don't have huge funds to invest in Ripple and this could only climb a little due to huge circulating supply. Furthermore if I have that huge amount of money I will not choose Ripple as I can select other altcoins which are more progressive than Ripple. Although you can be profitable in Ripple if you will invest in a long term plan but not for this year 2018.

If I were you I won't say no cause the coin is among the strong cryptocurrency and for the Chinese CCID to rate it 17 it mean something. However, if you watch closely the coin never loose it #3 on cap market.

I read and watch a lot of speculations. There are some that says that in May Ripple will reach $10-$14 and before the end of 2018 it will reach $100. It can't be because we can never tell what will happen just like what happen to bitcoin price. At the first quarter of 2018 Ripple shows a great climb a huge percentage and reach $1. So there is a possibility of a huge and rapid climb of price.

I highly doubt it. Ripple has been the pump and dump coin of 2017 with all time highs reaching 20k sats and all time lows reaching even as low as 3k sats.

Ripple according to my knowledge, this is an efficient project, was born by Bitcoin, this project will help the transaction at the banks faster instead of speed slow as today. And investing in the Ripple will give you an excellent opportunity to make a profit as the rate of Ripple will increase rapidly by the end of this year.

Becoming a millionaire by investing in a ripple is a very difficult task to do. To do this you have to invest a lot of money with such a large supply. Ripple may increase 2-3x but probably not more.

Ripple is good investment but because of centralization and very high supply, I don't invest in ripple and if we look at the date it launched, it can be said it is late for high amount of investment.

I invested on Ripple before but after knowing that this coin is a centralzed thing I quit right away because I know that someone can really move the price and its risky for me to hold on it as a busy person but yeah XRP is a good one it can really go beyond $5 in the coming years but you have to be careful.

I had invested in ripple last year andnit was actually one of the coins I bought and thought would make me rich until such time it dropped to a couple of dollars and had lost its credibility. Don't get your hopes up too much especially with already mainstream coins like Ripple. The public has already lost too much confidence on this coin. Unless you find some other new coin that has great potential you have no chance of earning millions with Ripple, but really, earning millions is not really what crypto is all about.

i think not in 2018. because we see now the market very dont stable. the price is go down very far. and hard to rise. there is always a possibility for the ripple price to soar. and make the ripple coin holders become millionaires but it will take time very long. due to unstable market conditions from a few months ago to the present day. and do not know when it will recover.

I think people can make a lot of money with ripple in 2018 or in 2019, because the price always starts to pump after we saw crazy gains at Bitcoin and Ethereum. But be careful, the price always went down after huge pumps.

The coin give you a little progress or not too big earning with the coin with its little movement and slow progress, but you can make it big if you will hold them longer later than 2018 or if you trade them then you can have a chance to make it more and have more.

Ripple's project has the right technical team and a right set of investors for it to become huge in the upcoming years.  I would suggest you to hold and wait for sometime. Many international banks are already working upon currency changes using ripple. So HODL like I am :D

For me, it is all depend on how the value you invest in this currency and the timing is essential and it will be when you invest a large amount when this Ripple in a total decline, for example, when you invest more than $ 700 K in Ripple, when their price decreased to less than $ 0.6, then possibly, you will be Millionaire because it is very expected that the price of XRP will rise to more than $ 1.2 within this year, especially if Bitcoin will jump with an acceptable value.

In fact, I think that Ripple is one of the most profitable currency on the market, but in the middle and long term because their price is low and their best advantage is the huge value of Market cap (despite this crisis, it is now more than 24 Billion dollars). ripple is a great coin maybe in 2018 you can take a million from it.. if you want to invest .. just invest now!!. many investor that invest to this coin because they see that this coin has a great potential to the near future and they believe that they can be a millionaire to that coin.

I think that the rise of Ripple will only serve as the CEO of Ripple. The 20 xrp Ripple needs to open the wallet goes to his locker. As you remember, he was the richest man in the world in 3 days. I do not think it will grow any further this year.

I don't think if ripple makes you millionaire this 2018, because as of today price of ripple and other alternative coins are in color red so it means most of the coins are fall down including ripple. However I don't remove the chances of increasing value of this coin but hopefully ripple recover and increase their value in the future, maybe not in 2018 but in the following year.

Matrix AI has a better chance to go higher this year compare to Ripple but of course XRP can easily go up high if they wanted to do it since this coin is a centralized thing. XRP will pump and dump this year so watch out if you hold this coin because you might lose the opportunity to sold your holdings again.

We don't know what exact happen to ripple, even the market of the bitcoin are turning into red they have altcoins are still green and pumping but only few but if ripple are still lucky they will be still green and those people who have a lot of ripple can earn more profit. Even though XRP is currently a top coin, I don't think it can make you a millionaire this year. If you want to invest in XRP you should probably do a long-term hold so the investment is going to be more worth it.

If also do not doubt its status among crypto coins, it comes under the top coins but if have to consider an asset which can turn me into a millionaire, it won’t be ripple for sure. The reason is not that there are chances of this coin fading away after some time but it will take huge amount of time before yielding dome big profits and that is what most investors are not ready for. Bitcoin and bitcoin cash are better options.

No it won't make you a millionaire with todays value with just couple thousand dollars (assuming 1k to 10k) investment. the market cap for Ripple was just 200 million dollars in Jan 2017. IN the current Ripple market cap of 20 billion dollars, it could only make you millionaire with a couple of thousand dollars if ripple market cap reaches 2 to 20 trillion. Just do the math. Don't think you half dollar ripple could become the same price of bitcoin (they have a different total supply) unless it's super hype bubble.

XRP is one of the biggest coins in the world. But in 2018, I do not think that you can get big profit easily with XRP. you must be patient and buy it now and hold in few months.

Realistic outlook for the next 2 years is $10/XRP, just due to the fact that major FI adoption of xRapid is still quite a ways off and they're only in the early stages of trials.

Ripple is no doubt a very good coin from investment point of view and that it has this much of the potential to help you in making of some good amount of money. However, it is not possible for anyone of us to become millionaire and that too in half a year no matter how much he invests into ripple. You must be patient and that you need to keep working harder to get what all you want to have.

Agree. Rripple is not a true cryptocurrency, in that it is centralized via the operation of validator nodes, and the XRP tokens have no actual intrinsic value and are not based on proof of work. They were basically premined and then put into escrow.

Ripple is also hated by the community because of the fact that it is centralized. There is really no high demand for that case and  you have more chances of becoming a millionaire in bitcoin than this crappy-bankcoin.

We have witnessed how ripple robbed ETH on the second place last January before it went down again and seems to me that what happened that day was just a pure pump and dump. Though some became millionaire because of that spike, others remain hopeful that it will happen again this year. Who knows it will? Besides, cryptocurrency has fall of surprises.

Ripple is one of the solid coins that has the potential to grow big in the future. Ripple became a threat to ethereum when it dislodged it temporarily from its 2nd position last January. Some crpto analysts believe that ripple's bright prospect is for long term and it is not good for investors who looking for quick money.

I think it's totally possible :). XRP is a very great cryptocurrency. Last year, it even had high rank than ETH for a long time so in this year, I think it'll be the same and price of XRP will reach to $5 or maybe more than that before the end of this year only ;D.

Ripple has made more people poor than Millionaires this year, I often read about people who went in when Ripple was at 2.50, not doing the fundamental research. Any research would quickly shown how overvalued it was, concerning only a few dozens of banks are using it and all the coins are premined and can dump the price hard if released by the founders.

I doubt that because the market does not even look very good now and the price of ripple is very low. Even the market recover, it will take time for the price of ripple to rise to a high amount. The only way you become a millionaire when the market recover maybe at the end of the year is if you buy a very high amount of ripple and hold till the price rise.
