Title: Custom Speaker Cooler for BTC or NXT Post by: zeiss on January 10, 2014, 09:14:38 PM Up for sale is a Customized Speaker Cooler which was built in March of 2013. This thing is very loud and is a real head turner. Its eight 6X9's are powered by two 4-channel Boss 1600 watt amps for a total power capacity of 3200 watts. Hidden under the amps are two huge marine batteries which still have a manufacturer's warranty until March 2015. On high output, these batteries power the unit for over 7 hours and will go for over 24 hours if used quietly around a campfire. The unit weighs about 200 pounds but is easily portable because of the heavy duty wagon (rated at 900lbs) it sits on. The cart has decent sized off-road wheels which allow the cart to cross grass, dirt, and sand with ease.
This box has only been used a few times for Apple River, Camping, and a boating trip over this last summer. I am located in the US and would be able to negotiate shipping.
