Title: Best SEC-Compliant ICOs?
Post by: jeffthebaker on May 21, 2018, 06:01:41 PM
Hey all, I'm looking to put together a list of current ICOs that are compliant with the US SEC. Of course, most offerings do not meet this criteria, so I'm sure this is a very niche list.

Good luck the list will be few indeed. I don't follow ICOs much anymore but wouldn't the definition of a security keep changing? I have been involved with TenX and they had to change their legal structure more than a few times in order to not be a security. All I am trying to get at is what is not deemed a security today, could be tomorrow. Tread with caution, even if the ICO claims they are "SEC compliant".

It will be interesting to see such a list if it will public) But considering that most do not meet these criteria, I think the list will not turn out big. Good luck!

I think that would be great list, because investing in other ICOs that are not compliant with sec is really very risky, because that also means that those coins will not be listed anywhere in the future.

There is no ICO that compliants with SEC. Even the majority of ICOS in US are not registered to the US SEC. SEC will try to call them all as securities. Even the beetoken that said if its token can be considered as utility token still included on the security token.
