Title: How do I manually set the electrum server I connect to?
Post by: LightningFire on January 11, 2014, 01:56:13 AM
For some reason in my electrum I can connect to the default server but when I click the green light at the bottom it doesn't pop up the connection window. This is probably because I run electrum manually with the -w command to open a specific wallet automatically. Is there a way I can set a specific server to be set on run with a - type command?

So......Didn't want to create a new thread but, bump! I really need the answer to this question... I've been browsing around nearly 24 hours looking for the solution and the site says I have only been logged in for 12 minutes. Could someone please move this to the appropriate electrum forum so it can get a response?

In the Network section (green/red dot) you can disable auto-connect and select a preferred server manually.

If you want to use a preferred server or Tor server do this in the command line

./electrum -s 56ckl5obj37gypcu.onion:50001:t -p socks5:localhost:9050
