If this is true, or at least the part about the stream processors vs TDP..... then it could be rather interesting for Bitminers.

hmm very nice boost in stream processors.

there's also already a main thread on the HD7000 series cards.

The low power consumption slaughters the 6xxx series cards, those are some very impressive TDP's.

And it's a whole new architecture which will prob. make a huge difference.

do you think these will be comparable to the 6000 series for release prices, I think i will get at least 1 7000 card but i will see what price the 6000 ones drop to

Tdp is going to become much more important than upfront cost as mining profitability approaches zero. Power cost for me is already 30 - 80 % depending on luck and btc price.
