title says it all im kinda new to this cryptocurrency thing and i cant really mine for anything with my setup here so im just wondering if there is a way to get bitcoins without mining other than buying them of course lol anyway any help/suggestions would be great

all good advice im limited to what i can actually do at the time i think bitcoins are a good investment though they have gone up like over 9000 times the value that they originally were worth

When it went up 1000 times, you'd be thinking "they have gone up like over 1000 times the value that they originally were worth" and missing the 9 times till now.

Think of ways you can get money.  Those are ways you can get bitcoins.

Some possible examples:

• Provide a product or service and accept bitcoin in exchange
• Beg like a bum and hope someone will provide you with charity out of the kindness of their heart
• Scam and/or steal it
• Let loved ones know you appreciate bitcoins and hope that when they give you gifts, they will choose to gift you with bitcoins
• Exchange other currencies for bitcoins (in other words, buy it)
• Mine it (which is actually providing a service, hashing and/or transaction processing, and accepting bitcoin in exchange)

You can make bitcoins through e-commerse, ads, banners, selling services, dotation etc etc.

No. there isn't any way to make bitcoin without mining. You just have to buy them.

i suggest you do this. i think this is the best way to earn some nice free btc. then you can trade the for other alt coins and maybe profit in some period of time.

Nothing I recommend but some people do this:
Hack other peoples wallets and steal coins
Infect computers at school and work with mining trojans stealing a few percent of the GPU

buy directly in exchanges, mine other altcoins and trade them to BTC.

You can receive bitcoins by clicking on ads or completing captchas in some pages

creative idea but not one that is likely to work short term for sure.

first if you take bitcoins at lets say 700$ market price , that would make each 0.001 worth 0.70 .
to make back your initial investment of 10-15 you would have to get back in return 200 of the 250 cards sending you the 0.001.

in reality the rate of return of things like that(cards,matchbooks etc.) is under 10%.

now sure some might send you even more then the 0.001 but some may also send less too.

then you got to split with girl unless girl is you, or if girl is your girlfriend/wife in which then she gets all LOL.

overall i like the idea, but unless you get cards for free then its not really a great way to make bitcoins.

I think honesty and quality will receive bitcoin donations.
It's alot of work, but once it's running i'm pretty sure you will get income.

You can either generate bitcoins or get free faucets.

But if you want to get bitcoins soon, just mine them.

I myself don't like the thought of investing money in bitcoins, but I do like earning a bit, just in the spare time.
I'll list a few websites that are legit and paying out, often almost no real work required.

Bitcoinget: A site where you complete crowd flower tasks ( I wouldn't bother with those that give you 5 ubtc each, but at least once daily there's one that gives you 125-150 and takes approximately 1 minute to complete ) You do need to create a crowd flower account to be able to complete the tasks, but many earn websites use it themselves so it might be useful even if you don't wanna use bitcoinget.

Coinad: Create an account, click a few ads per day, wait for the countdown to reach zero, make profits. There's no need to actually view the webpage itself while the countdown is ticking, altho most sites are only displayed for 10-20 seconds at max. Low minimum payout, quite profitable imo.

Once again there's no need to actually look at the website, you can browse something else or do whatever while the countdown is ticking. Payout threshold is 100 ubtc, takes a bit of time but as there's only 1-2 clicks involved every 5 minutes you hardly lose any time.
Very useful to just let it run in the background if you're on the internet anyways.

If you really want to get bitcoin soon, just buy some cheap bitcoin directly now.

Mining is neither easy nor fast.
You need to buy ASICs for bitcoin mining, and you can hardly get any profit...

If the bitcoins get super low I will have to seriously contemplate investing in them.

You forgot to mention that the money you wired can get delayed, and possible profits being at a loss.

Similar to how Mt.Gox operated, and btc-e would be selective scamming.

Do you really think it will sink to that 1$ low i guess bitcoin is already grown to big to sink that low I can expect 50$low the under the worse case scenario ..! even if it sinks to 100$ I think it will jump back to 300$ on same week..!

Indeed, it's really hard to break even no matter what you invest, also there's a high amount of uncertainty involved, the owners could disappear at any time etc.

If you have some time to spare to watch videos or do some simple tasks, you can try bitcoinget .

You wouldn't earn a lot though.

When BTC was trading at $100 or so, Bitcoinget was offering really good rates to watch the videos. It was possible to earn 1-2 mBTC every day from them, by spending just a few minutes. But now they have reduced their rates.
