Am a crypto investor seeking your opinion on which of the coin i should invest in for now.

Investment in both coins will actually turn out especially if you are buoyant enough to invest in these two. However, you may wanna choose between the two. If you have enough cash, I think Btc still has a huge edge over ETH cos whenever there is a slight market pump, the effect is felt hugely right away on Btc rather than ETH.
   Its actually suffice to say both are good deals which ever ones you wanna choose.

I would say ETH, because it has some value, projects are built upon it and many, if not almost every token is ERC20 standard out there. But on the other hand, BTC is used for payments and has a name to it. Both are viable, but I would suggest you to look out for some other ones like NEO.

Personally i would advise you to invest in both of the coins as both the coins are matured and having very strong community.BTC king of crypto and ETH queen of crypto.ROI is highest in BTC and first priority should be BTC and after BTC it should be ETH.Split your investment as

1.75% into BTC,investment is lucrative and secure.higher ROI confirmed.

There is no one correct answer. I personally always diversify the risks. Therefore, in this situation it is better to buy 50/50.

There are no differences between bitcoin and ethereum right now. But ethereum still depend on the bitcoin and it has reflected by the recovery of ethereum is really slow compared with another altcoin.

Well... If you are looking to make good profits with not many capita, go for bitcoin. Yes, both are good, I would even suggest Ethereum in most cases but bitcoin would be better for profits. Like Gabmot said, slight movements in market mean hundreds of dollars for bitcoin, this is not the case in Ethereum...

Hi, everybody. I think that both of these coins are worthy of attention, yet are the kings of the crypto currency. Therefore, I would advise to invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum. These coins have great potential.

BTC is always the king, but most times I chose to invest with ETH. But Investing with BTC is far better, with a little spike in price, you are in profit.

It all depends if you want to hold for long term,invest in ICOs or trade to other cryptocurrency.For me if i trade it depends with which currency i will trade and on which exchange is located and to invest in ICO usually i do with Etherium and to hold for long time i would go for ETH

Both coin are good enoughf and we already experience gaining on both eth and btc so then if we wanted more profit we need to do investing on both coin. I think we need to research more on investing some other coin that is really profitable like btc and eth. I believe that the bitcoin and eth will run for so long and if we are going to believe on it we can gain on it every now and then.

Obviously, ethereum, it is much more useful than bitcoin at the moment (in my opinion) and the fees are much more lower than the ones from bitcoin. Anyway, i hold more eth's than bitcoins at the moment.

Bitcoin is the top coin of all and is even called as the king but ethereum is also following at the 2nd of the coinmarketcap so having both of these coins isn't a bad idea.

a very profitable investment in Bitcoin. because Bitcoin has the highest rate of development compared to other Altcoin. because the level of trust in Bitcoin from consumers is much higher. so that more are interested in Bitcoin and make Bitcoin as the best coin to invest for the improvement of the market and the development and price of Bitcoin itself.

Bitcoin and ethereum are just as good, but if you have to force to choose one of these coins I recommend you bitcoin because the growth and development of bitcoin is quite fast compared to ethereum.

both are good if made into a container for investment. both are making a profit. but it remains my priority is bitcoin. etherium is the second alternative for me.

I would pick bitcoin anytime instead of eth but if prices keep goes down I will pick a little of each coin that I have my eyes on and this includes the ones I mentioned above.

Bitcoin and ethereum are good coins for investment. If I have a lot of capital, it will certainly choose both for long-term investment. But if you have to choose one of them, I choose ethereum. Ethereum has the power of new projects that use their smart contracts. The average new project uses a token that supports ERC20, so there will be more demand for ethereum. In terms of gaining profit, absolutely they are on the lead of it and there is no question for that. But question which one is the best, I may chose Eth over Btc in todays situation.  Cause as we look into market chart, more pumps are coming from ETH and with that way, we can take advantage on that.

For now, i will advise you go in for ethereum, may be you don't have enough experience. but don't you think its good to try both and see how things work for yourself. i advise you try 80% Bitcoin and 20% ethereum is you are scared of the risk. but for now the market trend for both is favorable.

Why do you choose between BTC and ETH? There are many other altcoins on the market now. Look at the top 10 coinmarketcap. There are good coins that catch up with BTC. Yes, bitcoin is still the best, but it won't be forever.

I think between BTC and ETH are both good, but in this case it is easy if you use ETH because altcoin invests in ETH, but in price I prefer BTC because BTC promises price, basically ETH and BTC are both good for us to invest.

Both coins are good and potential choice for investment. But if I am to choose, I would have to to btc as my first choice of coin since it has made a history before and I am looking for similar possibilities that it might happen to resume within the year. If you can invest with bitcoin then go to bitcoin but if you can invest with ethereum a lot then go for it. Both of them are good for long term investment so if you choose either of the two, still good for investment.

for me ETH investment is better than BTC because today's BTC price is low so you can earn more if ETH is invested.

Eth. Especially during dips since ethereum has a habit of falling a lot and then increasing to double it's price that it fell to when the prices start recovering. For me eth because its proven that when its value go down it will double the price when it will goin up.And the ethereum is not too expensive to invest than  bitcoin.You can buy more eth now and stock until december then you will have your huge profit if ever that time will come.

I think Bitcoin and Ethereum will be great investment, but how about Cardano (ADA) ? Take a look Cardano (ADA) is already using Blockchain 3rd generation which is better from past generation.

Invest on both coins but I won't do equal portion. Probably 70% for bitcoin and 30% for ETH or 60/40 or 80/20.

Comparing with stability, is better to invest in btc on my opinoin. I had mi investments in btc, then in eth, and in btc was less losses then in eth. Always need to follow the rule, they more then half of your investment must be in btc.

On this forum i saw a lot of opinions that Ethereum is dead, but i dont agree. Think you can take some profit from this coin. So if you want to invest in this two only, i would split my money. I think bitcoin will always be a better option than ethereum, it has a long run in the market and it keeps showing results at the moment, even though it's price has been dropping like crazy, just look at it like an opportunity to invest in it.

for me bitcoin is the best because I have seen cost averaging/regular interval investment as a common method on here for increasing one's stash of BTC, and I might look into that soon when my income becomes more consistent. Bitcoins seems to be more trusted because all the world people are thinking and talking about bitcoin only and you can say that every country who would make a statement about their attitude towards cryptocurrency are speaking mostly about Bitcoin.

Since the beginning of development, the Etherium has been considered as the technology Bitcoin 2.0. In many ways, all the ideas put in Bitcoin can not be realized because of too simple a code and it will not be able to provide the necessary number of transactions in the world. Therefore Ethereum has a number of undeniable advantages.

Ethereum scales very poorly despite the huge number of miners. It would seem that the more people can crypto currency, the more transactions the network can handle. But no, it's not. All these people simultaneously try to process one block and the more they are there, the higher the complexity of production, and the network bandwidth remains the same.

Currently, I think BTC and ETH investment are selected. BTC is the king of electronic coins, leading in all fields ... Currently, the price of BTC is low, investment BTC is a good profit. I will suggest you go to coinmarketcap, there are thousands of coins you can look into and do your research on them and invest in any one of them, market is so down now and now could be the good time to invest. 

I think investing into two of them is a nice idea, Btc is the number one coin and eth is the second coin, so investing in the top two coins is a good thing to make and now is the right time to invest, because the market is so down, so you can buy these two coins at a cheaper rate.

I would say none, gone are the days when bitcoin and ethereum is a good investment especially for holding, I will rather suggest projects like, privicy that are still very cheap now, get in while you can, eos is also cheap at the moment eos is a huge contender with ethereum invest all you can now. As for bitcoin and ETH I wouldn't put in my money unless there is a dip of over 50% which I think is impossible with the current rate.

Be an all out investor ,not in all situation you do a 50/50 investment, all indicators is pointing at a perfect ending of the year for BTC, I advise you to stake all that you got on BTC just like I did

In my opinion both BTC and ETH coins are worth investing. If I have enough capital I will invest both to make a profit. Unfortunately I do not have much money so I only invest in BTC. This is the first coin I bought and maintained until now.

Investing on both, it's quite a nice idea but I'll prefer btc, because of it's volatile changes which can occur at any point in time

ETH right now is the best way to get an easy profit to which will common to all investors, but I think it is a lot more profitable if you have some of the BTC in your wallet.

From a risk standpoint, BTC to me is the safest long-term investment.  Just about every other alt coin has some level of risk to go to zero, but ETH to me has a much higher risk than most coins.  It's buggy software, Vitalik and the foundation is somewhat of a single point of failure, nothing useful has been built and yet it still has major scaling issues.  These could all be fixed down the road, but it's a lot that needs to go right

Both are good to invest because bitcoin and etherium have similar characteristics in terms in gaining more profits and earning more money. And it is the best fime to buy and invest on both coins because they are in dip , specially in etherium now that its value is in $300+ , hodling both of this coin in the future will surely gain more profits when their value goes high again.

Bitcoin is still the best compared to others and no one has lost money by holding bitcoin. On the other hand, the performance of Eth is very disappointing over the past six months or so. Considering that btc would be the best option now.

Bitcoin is certainly a good investments for now, but we should think that eth is rising soon. Lately I've seen that eth dips its current value and grabbing the opportunity while this has a lower value, so it means a huge profit that's potentially coming to us if we buy eth now.

In my own opinion and my advise for you is to look into blockchain projects, these blockchain projects has a huge potentials to grow in the future as more people are deploying their apps on them.

I wouldn't advice you to seek advice on this forum as to what to invest into. Its best you invest into projects that you are comfortable with and the projects that you have researched and you are quite comfortable with it.  Bitcoin and etherum are good projects and are the best cryptocurrency to invest into. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the two best coins today in my opinion, these two coins are the axis of other coins, it is very difficult to choose between these two coins. If you have excess funds you should invest in both, but if you have limited funds, then I suggest choosing ethereum, because ethereum prices are more affordable so you will get more than buying bitcoin, so you can get more profit many.

If you are looking for relatively safer coin in terms of risk, then of course BTC beats all of the coins leaving of course Tether(USDT). BTC being the dominant currency and valued at $6k+, is less volatile in terms of percentage as compared to other coins. Also, BTC is trend setter. So other coins trend to follow bullish/bearish moves. So, BTC is best to choose when it comes to cut down risks. But if you are looking for more rewards, go for altcoins, here ETH as you only mentioned it.

Investment on BTC is better than others crypto currencies always. because its marketcap valume and engagement transactions. so its profitable investment if you do trade accurately.

I invest mainly in ETH, but I don’t forget about Bitcoin either. Approximately 15% of my investment is concentrated in Bitcoin.
In general, invest in different coins and this will increase your chance to earn.

BTC Anytime Because its the best coin to do lots of your trading work and it has a better value So you are kind of safe to keep it because anything that affects Bitcoin touches the whole markets too

I'm really sure BTC will be better investment than eth, coz the future of ethereum is very vague for me, and bitcoin for me  is digital gold

Investing in BTC is safer, but investing in ETH can be more profitable, because ETH may be easier than X5 X7  with BTC.

My advice is to invest in BTC, bear market and not as clear as this, you should invest in BTC with BTC / USDT trading pair. Profits may not be as high as altcoin but are safe and predictable.

Go in for BTC  for  long term investment but if you are looking for a short term one, then I will ask you to go in for ether because I believe it is still gathering the momentum to boom this year. Bitcoin is also a good coin if you do not want the effect now because the current market tells me bitcoin will not give a good return any time soon.

The most suitable coin for investment in the future is Bitcoin. In the next bull market, Ethereum may not return to a very high price. The current abuse of ICO has affected the growth of Ethereum. So I recommend buying Bitcoin.

I don't have big portfolio but majority of my holding is now BTC ( approx 30%) then Eth, Neo,Eos, ADA and some shitcoins from shitty ICO to name a few Atonomi, Open platform ( Fomo effect)    8)

In normal times, when there are no such strong price collapses and with an eye on the long term, I would buy bitcoin, but now it will be most profitable to buy Ethereum, updates will soon happen and will give a boost to growth
