Title: Open Video Conference
Post by: kungfukoi on September 08, 2011, 03:30:17 AM
Hiya,

Long time reader, first time poster. ( didn't realize I couldn't post to other forums until I was vetted )

I'm planning on swinging by the conference, and was curious if anyone else was going?

If you aren't aware of the conference check it out here:

http://openvideoconference.org/press/

Another thread talks about it at length here: ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=41932.0 )

Specifically, this weekend is OVC11 in New York City which is run by the Mozilla Foundation and the New York Law School
Open Video Conference is a two-day confab of people working on technology, policy, and creative dimensions of open video. This year's event takes place this weekend, September 10-12 in New York City.

Thought it was a cool idea.  A buddy and I were tossing around the idea of making a bitcoin send/recieve app for the iPhone using QRC readers for the bitcoin addresses.   Android seems to already had one...  but I digress.
