Mining Bitcoin using graphic cards...it doesn't worth the effort nor the risk of being caught.
Quote
The court decided to arrest 8 video cards, 6 power supply units, 2 hard drives, a motherboard, a system unit and a wooden frame.
But the funniest part is that this case isn't the first nor will be the last. The other Russian guys at least were mining with super computers :P

Nowhere it says that they were mining Bitcoin, it says they were mining cryptocurrency, so it must be some altcoin or altcoins. Also, people should understand that those guys aren't prosecuted for mining, they are charged with stealing of electricity, which they clearly did when they decided to mine at work, abusing their position as government officials. Stuff like this happens all around the world, people are finding ways to steal electricity for their own profit disregarding the fact that they are causing damage to others.
