Title: mining rig w/ 3 280x shuts down Post by: geerdt on January 19, 2014, 11:32:17 PM After mining successfully for some time, now it seems impossible to have 3 280x cards in my miner. The mobo and one card is powered by a 500w PSU and the two other cards are powered by a 750w PSU.
Is this problem caused by power usage through the PCI slot overburdening the 500W PSU? Would this be fixed if I get a molex powered riser cable and connect to the 750w PSU? |
