FWIW, they do have really nice site design.

The coin switcher on hash.so is not automatic, nor is it profitability based. What it does is you point your miners to stratum+tcp://pool-eu.hash.so:1337 and after that you can switch the coin from the web gui (or mobile interface). It switches to the selected coin super duper fast <1 second, and it will not disconnect your miners while switching you.

Automatic switching is on our list of things to implement.. And I think (obviously) that it's going to be rather interesting :)

1. No real-unattended auto-trade as hashco or middle. I must play with thresholds or to trade manually, which I hate and I consider suboptimal.
2. No good stats ( BTC/MH/day, daily earring history graph, etc... ).
3. A bit slow and unresponsive GUI ( probably due to chat + notifications window spam ).

I would vote for Clevermining (not on the list). I keep switching between them, Wafflepool and Middlecoin, with a bit of Hashcows thrown in. But some trend analysis causes me to put Clevermining at the top. (Linear trend analysis using Minitab if anyone cares; and don't ask about quadratic trend analysis, it's too depressing.)

Coinshift.com just started and is claiming to be on par with Clevermining.  They also claim to have some more tweaks that may push them past competitors... but okay, many pools say that.  Still though, looks interesting.

Been mining with Coinshift since it began. Profit yesterday for me was 0.01186 BTC/MH/Day = 171% LTC profitability.

Just noticed a new one, wemineall.com, going to try it out. Just for Scrypt.

I agree, that is a key piece of data and is missing (although you can stare at a couple stunted little graphs on their stats page to get a vague idea).

I tried mining on Coinshift for a few hours, results were only about 1/2 what the better sites were yielding. Why can't these sites at least match Litecoin at a minimum?

That doesn't make much sense to me. Why would someone rent a rig at a loss? Are they suckers who want to try their hand at mining without the headaches and investment of buying a rig?

I'm curious about this because I've heard others mention renting out their rigs. Is it hard to set that up? I'm an altcoin miner with four 290X's on my rig. I guess I should look into it if renting out is more profitable.

-I really like hash.so (fast, reliable and a lot of coins), will add 1% fee soon (this will always be on my pool backup list)
-Wafflepool is good (good choice for first backup pool)
-Middlecoin is bad, stats takes day to update and your income is always a surprise, should be more transparent, or better rate to get more atractive
-Cleverminig better income but lot of rejects when i tested, had for example a 1 Mh/s and always reported as I had 0,8 Mh/s (20% less)
-Coinsolver, used for one night, never again
-Megamultipool, used for 2 hours, bad experience, could not get much information from it
-Multipool.us - i hate their high withdraw price, need to wait a lot to withdraw in order get the most of it. I stop using when i compared the withdraw price with other pools.

Why do you say youll never use CoinSolver again? One night on a Prop payout system is not going to work out for you. Your reasoning for using or not using pools is seriously flawed.

Now, I did a short two day comparison with CoinSolver and CleverMining.

It appears during these two days that CoinSolver did beat out Clever.

Two payouts from Clever: 0.01036633 BTC and 0.01075317 BTC for my 2Mh/s

One payout from CoinSolver for two day(Exchange issue): 0.022693226 BTC or 0.011346613 BTC for 2 days.

After that, I only had one payout from CS be near CM, which was 0.0104 and that being my lowest payout from CS.

Not a lot of time or data, but preliminary results. CoinSolver is only getting better.

As I said, i tested for one single night, not very representative to know if it is good or no.
But the results were really bad, that is the reason i hated it and deleted from the pools i use.

They could have changed and made it better, but i dont know how it is now. I tested it about 2 weeks ago.

I have one issue with many multipool that are listed in thread. When i start mining almost immediately i get 10-20 or more HW- hardware errors. And hash rate in very low  1-10 khash. But dont know what can be the problem here. When i mine coins in any regual pools there is no problems.  Any ideas?

How long did you let your miner run? I sometimes get some errors when starting up my miner. after a few minutes it should be fine. As for the hashrate, are you using the pool's hashrate or your own.

EDIT: I just found out for myself. No auto-sell, but any coins mined are immediately available for trading. Hoping auto-sell happens soon, as they do seem to be an actively developing new features.

I can partially confirm that. I've been mining there for 10 hours, and got 0,001901 (unconfirmed + confirmed). Doing the math for my hashrate (620 kh/s) You get 0,007359569 BTC/MH/day in the end.

I tried coinshift for several days now (since 08 march), and I'm not disappointed with them. Their payout system is pretty neat for small miners or people who do not want the pool holding their coins until 0.01. If your confirmed balance is above 0.001, they pay you in the end of the day.

I'm liking this pool until now. I traded wafflepool for coinshift most because I personally like the shifting idea.

They also often post news on twitter.

You somehow missed tompool.org, and it's the best. 1 minute switching speed configurable, vardiff or manual diff, huge selection of coins. New ones added frequently if they are on a major exchange. Completey configurable multipool where you can exclude coins you don't like. MPOS so it works great with any of the API scanning pool monitors for Android and iOS, and unlike most pools, Tom is actually there a lot so broken things actually get fixed unlike say, every single other multipool. He also upgrades the hardware frequently. There isn't a better scrypt or sha256 multipool. Megamultipool tried to copy tompool, and while decent, it's simply not as good.

You can opt out of automatic conversion and manage it yourself. In this case all you pay is exchange site 0.3% fee.

I think LTCrabbit shorts you on reported hash rates. I switch to coinhuntr.com and they're reporting my has rates almost 20% higher - where they SHOULD BE!

PROS: very stable, reliable and just as btc pool,  multi is a very nice set-up pool, good uptime, 0% fee, good support, instant payouts, instant withdrawals, they have the exchange integrated, it's all you ever dreamed of from  technical point of view-many pools should take notes

Is it possible to enable automatic withdrawals on Ghash? I can only see the option for on demand payouts with a 0.001 fee.

I want to warn you about Ghash.io multipool.
I use multipool.us wafflepool and other and never had problems with my farms.
However switched them to ghash.io once it went live and left for few days. Only to realize that 90% of shares were either duplicated or stale - and the customer support keep responding (it is a problem with your hardware) :)
Shame - cex.io customer support is a bunch of under trained guys knows a little about mining and different hardware.All they can do is maintenance their own simple bitcoin asics/fpgas etc.
Please consider twice before joining ghash.io multipool. I lost around £130 in electricity and haven't received even a penny as a refund!
Also withdrawal fees, conversion rates , lack of 90% of scrypt coins - very low switching time (mulitport) - really bad service

I just used Multipool.us with 5 mh asics from zeus miner, the site verified my findings but for public eyes.

Per mh/s - .00097 / day and that was during the anti pool hopping time.

After that is slowly went up to .00103 approx.

24 hours of 5 blizzards got me .0066BTC

I Went Back to ScryptGuild, I averaged .0025BTC per blizzard.

24 HR average .015BTC for 5 Blizzards at 6/MH best results I have had yet.

So, what do you guys think of Hamsterpool?  They payout in either native coin or BTC (where available) and they have auto switch for Scrypt, Scrypt-N, X11, X13, and SHA-256.

Hamsterpool isn't bad, nice guys, friendly support but only few active miners.

What currently the best paying multi pool?

Mutipool.us looks good, there are a lot of votes for it, but I want auto-exchange all mined coins to BTC, in other words, I want to use my scrypt miner to receive payouts in BTC! Why don't they do it?..  :-\

It'd be nice if the poll was updated. I'm having trouble choosing which pool to join. I was a user of TradeMyBit before they shut down. Now on multipool, but don't know if that's the best one for my current hardware.

same this is not updated as thought had found good set of multi pools to use and compare with. Only one I use out this lot is multipool.us found results on google but man this needs some updating.

I would love to find a pool paying out in TEK or HYP

I just found this pool and moved there from clevermining and have to say the website is really impressive.  Considering you can autotrade everything to BTC or LTC like clevermining it is very transparent as to what is being mined, how much the pool gets form every block, how much you get, etc...  The opaqueness of clevermining always kind of bothered me but clevermining seemed to do as well as multipool.us for me and without having to sell a bajillion coins myself so I stayed for a while.  I have no association with happysatoshi but since I am mining there now and the pool could use more hashrate, consider this a recommendation.  In fact the low hashrate is the only downside I see to it.  The hashrate is too low to mine high difficulty coins like LTC right now but if more people come to the pool that could change.  I would encourage people to check it out. They also have an X11 multipool but the hashrate on that is super weak.

We're running with the same features at www.xpool.ca and have a couple more algos choose from. We have SHA256, Scrypt, X11 and Lyra2REv2. We also have direct mining ports for BTC, LTC and DASH if you're not interested in the multipool aspect.
