When I see promoting power usage and no price, it either means stratospheric price or crap performance  ::)

So, how much does it cost? $200 - 300?

my prices are in 10 and 20 pcs - the controllers can run max 20, will get a price on additional units so people can upgrade from lil to big.

What website? Gridseed.com? I don't see anything that matches these specs there, and certainly no option to order via the website.

I have to say the kits are damn nice for who wants to avoid hassle, noise, heat, power use, space at home, etc... Except for the controller, if a device malfunctions, one loses just 10% or 5% of the total hashrate. If I had them delivered in hand like one can get to a computer store and buy GPUs, I'd buy a controller and a few hashing devices, step by step until the 20.

However the most important metric, $/Kh isn't really that interesting. Even the power savings don't make up for the resale value of the used GPUs.

I just checked and can get 600 Kh/s out of a 7970 with the core at 850 Mhz. That means I'll be able to undervolt from 1.07V to 0.93V or so.

Arbitrary values, but correlated with power usage of the core.
1.07 * 1.07 * 1000 = 1145
0.93 * 0.93 * 850 = 720

40% power savings for 20% loss hashrate, not even talking about power efficiency at lower temperature. In other words, around 180W of the GPU vs 120W of the device, at the wall, per 600 Kh/s.

I still can compete with Scrypt ASICs and can keep mining Protoshares, MemoryCoin, VertCoin and the ASIC resistant coins that will come. Then it will be time for cards with GDDR6

So this is including the 'wiibox' controller and the multiple unit power supply?

So this controller:

Controller is included. Unit needs separate power supply.

Ok, thanks. I can't wait for a review from your side when they arrive!

I would also like to know if you can run them without the controller board? So would it, for example, be possible to sell 5 of them to someone else, who could then just run it connected to his own computer via USB?

Good luck getting these units out of the hands of group-buyins and farmers.  They will be buying these units by the thousands.

Interesting development nonetheless.  We may see some cheap GPUs now!

Yep, i've been in contact with one of the worlds largest, plus serveral other farms wanting to buy huge amount of hashes, not to mention all the individuals.  Its my hope to lock up all the supply from supplier, time will tell.

I expect these to be the next LTC.  Many BTC miners dissed LTC when they went FPGA and ASIC.  I expect the same in the LTC community.  History rhymes.

I'd love to get one of these as I can mine DOGE coins and alt SHA based coins too.Whats the price in GBP plus shipping? How can I be a volunteer tester as I wish to explore this device more.

Is this available to order yet or still in production?Does this come with a mining software client like BFL miners do or can this work with any off the shelf software?

I wish I could be an early adopter :)

If scrypt ASICs are available, then it is not the end for GPUs. It is the end of profit mining of scrypt coins. I hope people get scared of those ASICS and I can buy GPUs for cheap, though.

Do those mine Protoshares, MemoryCoin, Quark based coins, Vertcoin or Maxcoin?  :P

It's even ironic that the most money I ever made coin mining in 24h was with an Nvidia GTX760 and Amazon EC2 instances, not with my ~3 Mh/s scrypt

Chill, the guy is a troll trying to cash in on the launch of the Chinese ASICS. See my post above.
Also, he did not have any stock. Not sure if actually trying to scam some unsuspectnig members out of their BTC/LTC
