Title: Bitwars.org
Post by: zulu860 on January 21, 2014, 10:58:07 PM
I joined a site called Bitwars.org last week it was great i was making BTC they were depositing the cashouts.

Last night i made a cashout and about 2 hours later the site said Sorry! Temporarily unavailable! just curious how many got screwed off of this?

i still had BTC in the site but i knew a few strong players that had a few Bitcoins in it just curious who got fucked and if we have info on this site.

I searched did not see any posting on it here.

This website is a SCAM !
Do not sign in! I just lost 0.2 BTC. All players lost between 0.005 to even 0.5 BTC.

This is a bid based website and the owner of the website uses fake accounts to win every game.

Fake user accounts:

  • Nike
  • Nikey
  • JackRum
  • Support

(this is just a short list, full list will be available soon)

Actually I played for a little and received all of my withdraws.

As I know, everybody can choose their nicknames. If the admin is not smart enough to make a blacklist of names...

Does somebody have more experience then me? As now there are no traffic at all and just some trolls spamming the chat.

I am not sure why you say that, for me ant other users this is clearly not true. The user "Nikey" -- the so called troll -- just confessed:

Also, the TOS is ambiguous and there is no proof of fairness e.g.: http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/8662/why-do-transaction-blockchain-based-gambling-sites-use-such-complicated-methods (http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/8662/why-do-transaction-blockchain-based-gambling-sites-use-such-complicated-methods).

Yep, also check it today and it really sucks. The bank size seems to be decreased and now you cannot even make a cent of it. Risking 100% of your bet for receiving ZERO 00% ... Make LOL

Glad I took my money out of there till I was on profit :)

 Seems they change it again...
Now you have 5% reason/profit to start the bidding, but I'm afraid of overbids.

I don't know what to say... I guess will try it again if I'm too bored...

 Somebody tried it?
Or have proof/disproof of scam? As at this point I don't want to deposit again... Will stick to CoinBomb

Thanks for writing this post, I was really contemplating depositing a big sum.

I may have to rebuild my own version of this site, I really like the idea.

It is sites like this that remind me how important it is to check the forums before trying a new site. Deposited 0.001 a few days ago, got up to 0.04, and have now been waiting 24+hours for my withdrawal, too bad, stupid scammers.

If you were to copy this site, I would definitely use it, as long as you pay out lol

I was thingking the same :)
As I really like similar sites to CoinBomb and BitWars.
At least CoinBomb is not a scam site, but now is dead from traffic side...

And was thinking of a model how to make the game at lease close to Provably Fair.
Will write if I do something :))

The scam is another - they have a lot of fake admin accounts with unlimited money inside and drawn the big bets, not your 0.001.
