Can you delete my account? If I still understand this correctly: MtGOX Server hacked. Passwords leaked etc etc etc. Bitcointalk hacked. Passwords possibly leaked, etc etc etc. Bitcointalk moves forums over to MtGOX servers? Nah. Please delete my account. Hopefully no one had anything too personal in my PM box when it was hacked. I offered to pay for a dedicated server for the forums to host on to have their own secure island. I don't know where they went but I don't understand the new move and the forums are in too sad of a state of affairs from what they were a year and a half ago. Just delete me and anyone else that wants deleted post it here. You know how to get a hold of me to confirm if you don't think its me. Title: Re: Delete account thread? I don't think these sites are any less secure than others, they just have targets painted on them.

I've never understood how sql injection attacks happen. They happen to the biggest of companies too. I can't imagine that the donation mod is extremely complicated, but before installing you at least look at every query and make sure it's not passing unsanitized variables to your database. It's just like the xenland mining farm software that tons of sites are running. It has unpatched injection issues on every single one of them. The author thinks he is security minded. The sheep installing it don't have a clue. Good thing they aren't actually finding blocks with their dozen ghash running on them. Problem isn't the skilled hackers.
