Im selling my xbox one because I need to pay for a virus removal service. I have tried everything my computer remains infected. I only need 70$ for the virus removal but I dont want to let go of the xbox one for that little. And sorry I didnt reply to your PM WorldWideBTC, I cant go first, I dont trust anyone here just yet to that point. I couldnt reply to your PM because I reached the PM limit for the hour.

EDIT: I would use an escrower here but I dont want to test my luck with 500$ worth of this. Maybe later I can test if they are trustworthy or not on a smaller trade at a later date when I decide to get rid of some of my USB Miners.

If you choose one from the list with lots of deals and trade history they're trustworthy. The one who people shouldn’t be trusting here is you and quite rightly so.

And have you tried taking the hard drive out putting it in an external caddy and scanning it with an anti-virus? That usually works.

And don't you have any thing else to sell for the $70 dollars and opposed to selling the whole console? Couldn't you just sell the pads or games for that amount?

I have no time to do the caddy thing. I would rather get someone to manually remove the virus. If the AV I have does not detect it most likely that wont either. I have tried free trials for five different AVs. Norton, Nod32, Malwarebytes, AVG, Kaspersky, and McAfee
Well I also dont really want the xbox one too. I have a PS4 and that suits me well.
I also am saving up for a Jupiter too!

You would rather sell a console and pay $70 to do something that you can do for free and probably takes 10 minutes to get out and then however long it takes to scan?

"I have a PS4" is a much better explanation for why you are selling the XBOX one than "I need a virus removed from my PC"  ;D

Incase anyone is seriously considering dealing here I would exercise extreme caution.

This guy can spend 1000$+ on two brand new consoles, but can't afford a $70 virus removal and has to register a brand new account on a Bitcoin forum trying to get a 'quick sale'... yea sounds likely.

Oh and doesn't want to use escrows that have been here for years because they can't be trusted.. but he can of course be trusted to take your $500+ having just signed up yesterday.

Is there a reason you a trashing my sales? Do you get joy out of it or something? I wouldnt go through that much  trouble providing proof to scam someone. I even offered to use escrow from a trusted LocalBitcoins user. This forum is only a moderately large trading forum. You cant expect me to trust you right off the bat.

Why not go to gamestop with some xbox 360 games you dnot play and sell them there? 3 games can get you 70 dollars

Just reformat the computer and reinstall everything. First remove the harddisk and plug it in another computer and get your files off.

You don't have a windows disc? Doesn't everyone have one? Ask a friend. Because unless your pc is ancient, you have a cd key somewhere on it.

Idiot seems to fit if you are indeed selling it to get a virus removed and have no idea on how to remove a virus as a windows user. Because even a  3 year old would know this is stupid. A specialist? Typically you can not remove a virus if it has replaced system files.
So you have these options wait excuse me...the "SPECIALIST" has these options.

1. Do a system restore trying to do it past the point you went the the warez site, opened the email or watched the porn that got it. Then scan and remove the virus.
2. Use a antivirus app to try to remove it, I would like to think that even though you are an idiot you tried this so this one is out.
3. Take the harddrive out and plug it into a clean system and remove the virus. This method also can destroy the OS.
or
4. The best and fastest way is simply reformat the pc. You do this by putting in a windows disc and rebooting. After install , move your files back over and reinstall everything. Now you are fresh and clean. Next time use norton antivirus and a good firewall But keep in mind no matter how much protection you use an idiot can always get reinfected.

NOTE: But first make sure you save all your porn to a removable disc.

Also PC cleanup tools are worthless and used to rip people off

Im not ignorant, in fact you actually know nothing. All it takes is a simple google search to proove you wrong. I have tried using System Restore (On the computer) to the first day I got it and I used my computers built in factory reset feature. If the Factory reset didn't fix your problem, how do you know it is a virus? What are the symptoms?

For one I cant open task manager or the control panel and I also get the shittiest hashrate with my BFL stuff

It's fair game to troll scammers or potential scammers, but he is asking for legitimate proof. It's your responsibility to prove you have theses consoles and it's the communities job to make sure your facts check out and try to ensure smooth trades.

I know how to remove most viruses, Im sure the same applies for you, you only probably know how to remove the viruses that dont hide themselves from MSConfig.

Lots or red flags were waved that make you a potential scammer: No time-stamped pics, questionable story, wanting to use paypal, no escrow offered, no price offered but willing to accept what you get etc. People have a right to be suspicious around here.

Its not time stamped anymore, I got my paycheck just now :) I use PayPal because it protects both the buyer and seller, escrow was offered (It was third Party), Im not willing to accept what I get, I just dont want to say a price when I can possibly get more than what I was asking for it. Please go look into things before jumping to the conclusion that someone is a scammer next time kk.

This never works, but worth a shot.

This will work, but might destroy your bootable OS
or

This will work PERIOD, unless you got a boot sector virus which I highly doubt.

I'm one of these "specialist" you speak of, I was working on computers when they were monochrome and I had a whopping 10mb HD!!!! Dos command line was the bomb!
