Title: Re: Overclockers and Slashdot follow on for the HD6990 Post by: marcus_of_augustus on March 09, 2011, 12:54:32 AM They seem to have finally figured out that putting a single centrifugal fan at one end of two processors is not a good idea ... one always runs hotter than the other. 6990 has fan centrally located so each GPU gets equal fan pressure ... but does make you wonder about the end of the card that will vent inside the PC case, so probably still one GPU will run hotter, just not as much. |
