Post by: sr72 on January 24, 2014, 09:49:00 AM hi ther guys a little help here... building a minig rig with 4 X 280X ...is a 1000w power supply enough or do i need 1200w??? do i hav to connect them in crossfire or with the VGA resistor hack method??? and last wat OS to use windows or Linux???

Hi, 1200 W is recommended .. better to be safe than sorry. Cross-fire is not needed ... not sure by VGA resistor hack if your referring to dummy plugs. You can probably get away with a 550w, if you can find one. Get a good brand. Never skimp on the PSU.
