The Peershare Project

"Terms of compensation are negotiable and will be dependent upon the reputation that an individual has. Peercoin Client Development


Note: The long awaited client  v0.4 is in testing and near completion. However to ensure quality Sunny King  has given it more time and "high priority, low risk features" have been imported into v0.3.1.


Client v0.3.1 is out for testing.

-Improved security via bug fix, pass-phrase now required for transactions when wallet is unlocked for minting

I'm a strong supporter of PPC's future. Was really the first to address the centralising-decentralisation problem of BTC. It's also exciting to see these SHARE type movements. PPC shares seem the most promising considering the community and market that is already in place. The more that crypto's can be used in a broader sense throughout the greater economy and market the brighter their future and the weaker the traditional banking system. All in all. Three thumbs up.

Maybe I cannot offer any insightful comments about Peercoin in technical aspects,but I really appreciate your efforts in promotion, like the nice newsleeter. This project is great news for propelling PPC into a great year and becoming the leader for growth as the bitcoin predecessor in 2014. First thing first, not many top coins- BTC, LTC etc...- have representatives keeping us updated on these forums. It's good that Peercoin does. The newsletter is very thorough.  If this was my first time reading about Peercoins with some prior knowledge of crypto-currencies I'd have almost everything needed to get into Peercoins and where it's heading. One thing that's lacking is the official peercoin website. I believe that it should be the most emphasized on thing, but it's nothing that Google can't "fix". The newsletter could also be a little more jazzier, it's a bit plain looking. Overall the fact there is a newsletter in the first thing is a nice thing and it has has good very good info.

Good news letter.  Couple of thoughts

Aurora wallet is solid.  I know that swarms have been out marketing the coin to various exchanges and payment processors.  Are there any updates on those efforts?  What seems to be the key driver in getting PPC adopted into the support ecosystem?

The lead dev is still working on Peercoin v 04.  Are there any plans to update the XPM protocol and client with features enabled. It has been ages since any changes there.

Peercoin could benefit a great deal from multisig support.  Are there any plans to incorporate this?

I was way to late into the cryptocoins world. Jumping arround from new starting coins who are copies from copies. And way to late too mine some inovating coins like Peercoins, litecoins or bitcoins with a gpu i decided i want to invest the little money i could miss. After lots of reading i think PPC has something special that can set it apart in the not to distance future. A real investment. So i got some for 3 dollar and 30 cents :D

1BTC worth of PeerCoin last FEB 2013 would be worth near 20 BTC today.

Peercoin will bet about 0.05~0.1 BTC by end of 2014 if not higher, and at least $100 each, likely will go over LTC this year.

People don;t realise it bu there are much less Peercoins being produced that LTC or BTC now

people don't get that the big money is not in retail depreciating assets, essentially ebay, amazon and new egg, sell 95% junk and 100% depreciating assets. If anything they sell down the price as your currency is exchanged to fiat by bitpay.

Peercoin is aimed at appreciating assets, long term store of value and back bone currency.

This is super high value and actually useful. For big purchases, currency swaps, asset backing, off chain backing, balancing the nightly.
