I also noticed there is a massive silicon shortage, maybe due to crypto usage and solar panel usage.

Few investors want to back my solar powered factory for processing silicon dioxide ore into silicon though. The US could export to China and Europe or use it for it's own production of silicon.

So what are your stats on the solar powered factory of yours? Where are you located at? I could be interested in some investment if the numbers are there and everything is right.

Well hard to lnpe exactlt withiut a geologist to ponpoint the ideal target areas.

Rough guess at scale a million oh a year factory cost 40 million, another 30% for the advanced German clean tech and prices are at $450 per kg.

Of course a sand mine, would be cheaper but we are running out of those, basically you use catyalst to break silicon out of sand, then sunlight to recycle the catalyst and repeat. You would need a large sunny sandy area wirh cheap land and ideally a railroad nearby. It's quite a fanciful notion and would need a lot of work. I'm far from the $100k pre seed check

A) Legal Costs
B) Marketing costs
C) Easy for somebody else to copy and accelerate beyond my ability as soon as the barest outline is available.

That makes a lot of sense, as an approach for a patented product though.
