What are the reason behind falling Bitcoin and do you think it will be down more!

Rich guys sell it in large quantities so all the cryptomarket falls. We need more buyers but down trend does not attract new investors :'(

IF USA considers this practices are being done, crypto will fall down to hell as it is falling right now.

Holders are going to get REKT this week, and cryptomarket will not recover from this hit.

Its the US Department of justice doing investigations on the supposed price manipulation like fake volumes and spoofing and wash trading. That's why all of a sudden the price just plummeted  again after almost touching $10K. But I don't think it will go down even further at $7K because there are a lot of buy support.

The reason is simple, people bought bitcoin at a price of 6,000 thousand, it cost $ 9,000 - $ 10,000 thousand, and they immediately began to sell it and softened its price!

The whale are waiting BTC to reach a peak bearish before they enter the market perhaps after the market the BTC will sky rocket

in my opinion, this is due to high supply compared to demand, therefore price will fall, and this could be the reason for falling btc price in the market.

Well personally i think that bitcoin and the market is being manipulated and at the same time i think that we are sitting at bottom already and hopefully the market will take a reversal sooner or later from these levels. i think the usual summer slowness in the market will fade away as soon as we cross 500 b market cap.

In my own opinion I believe many people invested in bitcoin because of the just concluded consensus, they thought the consensus will create a major FOMO that will make many people to jump into cryptos and start investing which will make the price to jump high. But consensus ended without much impart on the crypto market and a lot of people started selling off to take little profit they have gain. I think maybe that's the reason bitcoin price is going down.

It is somewhat akin to the flocking mechanisms of bird flocks (or crab swarms, whatever).    There might be some trigger, in terms of news or rumor, and then a collective movement in one way or another based on the collective emotions and rationality of traders.  A good strategy might even be to follow the swarm in terms of coming predictions.

On previous reports, CCN emphasized that the price of bitcoin will likely fall to the higher end of the $6,000 region in the short-term. Over the past 24 hours, the bitcoin price has dropped by 2.5 percent, from $7,580 to $7,350, dipping below the $7,300 mark at one point.

To my mind there are two main reasons - some insider's manipulation which reasons we can never know and the global markets recession which makes people to cash out and wait for some better times in the economy.

It's all about market sentiment, there is no FOMO at the moment and traders are still hesitant on which way the market is moving. Long term trend could be upwards but there is a lot of swings before we get there. When some bullish news comes in the big investors will start to join in, we just have to wait for it

Aside from crackdowns, manipulation, SEC, the few and mighty whales must have also played their part in this new series of downtrend.

The manipulators are not coming from the insiders but in fact it has been coming from the mtgox itself. mtgox trustee becomes the real reaons who is manipulating the bitcoin market at this time. You can see that in so many news or article.

There are many top institutional investors and family funds who decided to cash out from the market to get the profits after the growth to the moon after the last year. I believe this trend will not last for a long time.

it is very obvious the real reason why Bitcoin went down this much due to euphoria.
did you guys remember when CME announced their listing ? everybody went nuts.
also because of that many people who know nothing about Bitcoin felt intrested with it and invested some of their money into it.
and when the price started to create its ATH again,people who joined this after heard CME listing took their profit from it and take their leave.
so it's reasonable for it to make this move,because we need to stabilize our position and emotion.

I do not know how many times such questions have arisen. But I will answer it as I know bro. The price of bitcoin down is influenced by many things, such as bad news, then large-scale dummies made by big players. Will it continue to fall? not necessarily, because there is a purpose behind the falling bitcoin price. Technically, bitcoin is looking for the lowest price for this year, then it will go up looking for the highest price that could be higher than the price at the beginning of this year which we know to reach $ 10,000 more

I think whales are now dumping for a profit, since there is no bad news ongoing right now they are selling for a profit, these are the people who bought when Bitcoin was dipping and they are now selling it to others who would like to make a profit in the future.

It's quite disappointing but true. 2018 hasn't really been the year of Cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has been heavily fud in the last couple of months and every time it seems to be heading towards a new all time high, It gets dumps. Couple of days Bitcoin looked to be breaking the $10K resistance now its back to $7K. What makes it worse is that it takes altcoins along with it.

If you regularly monitor the BTC rate is affected mainly by the FUD psychology of investors. For that reason, if there is much negative news about BTC, the exchange rate will immediately fall as investors lose confidence in the BTC and the cryptos market. When the exchange rate of BTC falls, so calm and hold until the exchange rate of BTC increases again.

There doesn't always have to be a reason for it. The market fluctuates.

I think that the price of bitcoin is too high. and so now it falls in price.

Bitcoin price is falling because from time to time market undergoes correction, it happens even in stock market, it happens because people will sell off to make some gains and re-invest back again.

actually this is a market game there are some big investors playing here. and again with a variety of negative negativity switches make people sell heavily because of panic and fear of losing. but my advice is better do not panic if the price is flushed. because it will continue to damage the market price.

crypto space from time to time goes up and down and that is why people make gain in the market, If the market is only in one direction, it wont have made sense and people won't be making much gain. So bitcoin price falls because it is going through correction moment which it will rise again. you can take the advantage and make some profit.

This is absolutely a normal cycle, the all market is correcting, with a lot of confidence it will go down until the market recover its confidence. I agree there is some market manipulation orchestrated by whales and institutional ( behind bad news). Some TA on the market show the trend ... Market will stay bearish until August/ September 

It's all because of whale which sell their coin in large amount. And maybe, the reason why BTC  doesn't rise again because some investor doesn't trust BTC again because some negative news or they had bad experience with BTC which cause they get some losses.

I think that the main reason is that there is much more negative news, than positive. In addition, it can be a banal manipulation.

most probably. there is something big that's about to happen and they need to accumulate a lot of btc and tokens which is why the manipulation is necessary for those holders to break and sell giving them the available cheap tokens in the market. if you happen to join them in accumuting these coins like ETH and EOS, you might be able to make them realize its not easy manipulating.

So many investors also sell btc, that means they bid that the price will fall and if it falls they earn profits such as we do when it rises. If there are too many sellers the price would go down as there won`t be buyers to increase the value.

I think a lot of things are affecting the decline in bitcoin prices, such as their views on bitcoin, news and opinions from experts (that's why they're called influencers).

For me and my own humble opinion, I think many people are selling off to make some quick profit from the recent bull market we witnessed few weeks ago, just like we always notice, once there is a drop in the market, weak hands will start selling off immediately, and that would cause further market dip. but it will soon bounce back.

I do not see too many reasons for the decrease in the price, so this seems to be the natural fluctuation in the price of bitcoin, but do not worry the price will recover soon and go back to its previous levels but do not expect too much growth either because there are not many reasons for that as well.

The likelihood is panic because of the excessive current down trend, so the rich people sell their coins in large scale that resulted in the falling of its current market price. If this situation continues in fear the market price will drop further.

actually, we cannot predict the price of bitcoin, because it depends on people's interest to buy it. so the more that sell bitcoin then the price will go down, but if many are looking for it then the price will rise again. to prevent the prices are getting down we can hold the bitcoin that we have. because if we sell it then the price will go down. and we never know how long the bitcoin price will go down.

Market will keep doing back and forth of the current value but it wont fall below 7K USD for sure. This is the bottom that bitcoin has found now and I am pretty sure that it will keep the average of 7,350 USD all the time unless and until it finds out the bull trend one more time. So we are sure of one thing now that the drop is over. This is because the buying is overcoming the selling zone and thus more demand for the bitcoin has risen with the current discounted prices. So my belief is that bitcoin will kick start the up surge this June and will explode like very crazy in the time to come.

In my opinion, traders are still hesitant in which direction the market moves. Long-term trends can go up but there are many changes before we get there. When some bullish news appears on big investors will start joining. I'm sure this trend will not last for a long time.

actually mate there's a lot of reasons behind why the bitcoin price always falls which is after it touch down the highest value. such whales, fuds,  panic holders,  and etc.. But it doesn't mean it will continue to collapse because of that reason 'cause there's always a tends of price to rocketed again after the dip and that is the fact which is its either new high value or it will bounce back.  So keep holding if the price continue to collapse 'cause it just a temporary and after that it will survive . So just put more patience on it to avoid such issue.

The most important thing to realize is where the money is coming from and where it's leaving. Some portion will be internal within crypto and some portion coming from fiat. There is also the money leaving.

If you can predict the above, you can much more accurately determine which will rise or fall against BTC.

All markets experience this kind of thing but i know that bitcoin will rise again and will give a lot of opportunities to people who are joining this.

The simple reason why bitcoin price falling down, is about the percentage of supply and demand, and the comparison are more on selling of bitcoin compare to buying transactions. But I'm pretty sure that sooner or later the price of bitcoin moving up again, and I don't believe that the price of bitcoin will down more.

I think its just normal because we all know BITCOIN grows so fast last year from 800usd i think to 20000usd. And we all know market will not be forever pumping i guest its right to fall at this deep so that late investors will also have chance to dive in. Crypto market is a demand and supply meaning market will always go up and down. some people sell of their bitcoin to invest and in doing that it could make market to go down.

There are multiple factors, but it's definitely led by the inefficient and artificial growth that occurred due to many people just FOMO'ing in this past year. Also the impending regulation seems to be contributing to its decline. There are many different reasons that are affecting it. Definitely worth analyzing it under many different lenses though, as there is no singular answer for its decline.

I think that there are several reasons for the drop in the price of bitcoin, this is the first attempt by some countries to regulate  the cryptocurrency market, secondly, very large financial companies want to enter the cryptocurrency market and it is beneficial for them that the bitcoin price be low to buy bitcoin at a low price.

In my opinion, this is the accumulation, from last year's correction, banned from many countries and social media, and the number of new coins created. While the market can not afford to buy all. New communities are growing, but probably not as big as the market. But I think this is enough, maybe we have seen the lower limit of Bitcoin this year. And some people who missed buying Bitcoin when the price doubled from now might take a chance.

From yesterday the price of many coin falling because any bad news , that news is exchange coinrail was get hacked,  but usually this falling will be end soon and the price back to going up again.  I remember when Bitfinex exchange get hacked last year,  the effect just temporary and after that the price Bitcoin going to the moon.

I was really shocked today as of June 11, 2018, 07:30:45 AM forum time bitcoin is already at 6,761.71 USD and i think this was not the dip yet, the last time i checked the price yesterday bitcoin is around 7,200+ USD. and i think all the simple reason behind this is there are some whales that are already dumping there bitcoins.

I know little about the fall of bitcoin but I heard some people say if the price of Bitcoin fell because in the year 2017 the price is skyrocketing and get a good profit and with the decline bitcoin also because every year to experience like this then I know little about the fall of Bitcoin

Bitcoin,and all other coins were seriosuly overvalued,and this is natural correction,that previous bull run was not sustainable in the long run,this was bound to happen.And i think we will be in bear market for atleast few months more,maybe even till end of this year.So stay patient and HODL ,it will pay off in the end :)

Some people believe that this is a healthy correction after the rise last year. Indeed we will not believe it when not experienced it. But at the moment it's all sensible, because after all, marketcap increases should be offset by community increases, which may be smaller than the market needs.

The fall of bitcoin and the entire cryptomarket occurs at the request of speculators. I do not see any negative news or other reasons that could affect the situation. The fall of 10% yesterday occurred in a few minutes. So quickly collapse the market can only very negative news or coordinated actions of a group of people with huge financial resources.

I agree last year same thing  happen, bitcoin fell and most of the panic holders sell out their bitcoin without knowing that it's just a temporary things that happen, with their moves whales start to buy cheap coins and begin to pumped, never expected that before the year ends it will touched $19K+, so just cool down and continue to hold if you bought from the hyped and wait for your term to earn.

He has long ago collapsed. And he fell from a height of 20,000 dollars. But I do not think we need to get upset about this. The cryptocurrency remains as volatile as it was, which is a great way to earn money. Bitcoin will walk in the range of 7000 to 8000. Under certain circumstances, it can rise to 10,000.

reason is clean - someone is selling their big amounts of crypto,like EOS team, check yesterday sales at Betfinex, many ETH and EOS was sold for usd and such things usually do EOS team and such actions are reason of market dump

The price began to go down before that happened, what it really happened was very simple we were in the middle of a bubble and it was impossible to maintain a price so high then the market slowed down a little and everyone began cashing out and this created panic in many investors.

I think it was also the part that the coinrail exchange has been hacked and stolen lot of bitcoins and other coins and altcoins. I think it is also the reason for this bearish market as of now. The hackers I think is selling all the bitcoins that cause bitcoin price to fall down hard. When the bitcoin price falls then so also as the other coins and altcoins.

Indeed, no one knows exactly about the causes that make bitcoin have a fall. Till now, almost all people think that it’s just because bad news. However, I think that there are so many different factors that taking impact to this falling. We all know that bitcoin is highly volatile, thus this it’s pretty normal when bitcoin goes down. Fear is one of the main reasons responsible for these sell-offs which simply leads to more fear, FUD, negativity etc which is something common in this sensitive cryptocurrency market. This is the risk associated with this extremely volatile crypto market which scares off many potential investors, but the volatility will decrease with time which will surely attract more and more investors helping the market grow in the long term.

In my opinion, the main cause of the bitcoin collapse is the increase in political control over it. Economically leading countries underestimated bitcoin, but now South Korea, China and European countries have seriously taken control of it. Lack of freedom and increased risks do not allow the market to grow.

The theory says to be wary if the increase happens too fast. Perhaps the correction occurred along with the attitude of many social media that no longer support crypto this year. My opinion is information is not entirely accurate, Bitcoin can not fall completely, it has, however, like many payment systems, a temporary crisis, but it always stably comes out of it, and in most cases with a double profit

Once this thing blows off all its steam and the masses start to capitulate and panic sell (even some of the vets might contemplate panic selling) is when the bottom will be found and the bubble cycle will complete, and then Bitcoin can finally catch its stride again from there to eventually find new highs.

Personally,i think all this is just an excuse to lower the price.In order for big money to enter crypto,and by big i mean institutional money,price has to go even more down in order for them to start buying.For them,even $6k for BTC is a lot,they would rather buy it for 3-4K USD.
