Title: Should a PCI-E 16X to 4X Riser be powered? Post by: nipponese on January 27, 2014, 12:59:26 AM Looking at 16x to 4x riser cables, (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=+PCIe+1x+to+4x) it seems like most of them are unpowered. Are powered risers required for mining on 16x to 4x conversions? What about 16x to 1x?
