Title: [ANN] Bitcoin Core $BTCC - privacy by default - 1minute blocks & 8MB blocks
Post by: BitcoinCoreBTCC on May 30, 2018, 12:48:26 AM
Presenting Bitcoin Core (BTCC)

BTCC has its own chain, it's not moving to an Omni token model, there's no need for it.
DON'T BUY ANY OMNI OR ERC-20 TOKEN CALLING ITSELF BTCC.
Don't waste your hard-earned bitcoins for any token scam.

Bitcoin Core is a return to the Core values of Bitcoin.
The true vision of Bitcoin Core is to compliment Bitcoin, and run along side it, by acting as an express lane for core values, speed and privacy.

Big Blocks without the corrupted billionaires & scammers (no Bitmain, no Calvin Ayre, no Faketoshi etc.)

Translations: Chinese / 中文 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4355946.msg39033921#msg39033921)

Featuring:
  • Peaceful co-living alongside Bitcoin by using 10333/10332 ports and different paths+filenames
  • 8MB blocks (also the biggest block ever mined at 7,999,183 bytes)
  • Fastest block-times! 1 minute per block - suitable for merchants and shops
  • DAA evolved squared - faster - better - more reactive
  • No premine!
  • No extra OPCODEs against the True Vision(tm)
  • A bright history of Clashic-ness

NEW VERSION v0.16.2
https://github.com/bitcoin-cored/bitcoin-cored/releases

Hard-fork upgrade at block height 588672 (Aug 16th, 2018). Upgrade now!

  • We move from BCH's broken DAA to a better more reactive Difficulty Adjustment algorithm to handle hashing power variance
  • & of course blocktimes are reduced to 1-minute!
  • This means the capacity increased by 10x!

Roadmap:

Overview Videos:

  • Russian - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvXBDkfeDGw (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvXBDkfeDGw) by Crypto Shark

Specs:
- PoW: sha256 (Bitcoin)
- Blocks: 1mins
- Difficulty Adjustment: Enhanced DAA for flexible reactions to mining variance

Distribution: - Do I own any Bitcoin Core (BTCC)?
Since it was Bitcoin, then BCH/BCL and now BTCC, the blockchain was always publicly mined by a multitude of people.
- If you had BTC on block #478558, then you got BCH after that hardfork.
- If you had BCH on block #504031 then you got BCL (Clashic) after that hardfork.
- If you had BCL on block #576697, then you got BTCC (Bitcoin Core).
No changes were done on the coin supply or distribution. BTCC had and follows the normal mining of a blockchain, no airdrops etc.

----

History:
chainspl.it (https://chainspl.it/) correctly has the events:
Block height: 478559 - Bitcoin Clashic forked from Bitcoin.
Block height: 504032 - BCH forked from Bitcoin Clashic, but Clashic kept going on the original True Vision chain.
Block height: 576698 - Bitcoin Clashic upgraded (forked) and ascended as Bitcoin Core (BTCC).
First, it was done so it can run without issues on the same machine with Bitcoin and secondly to add tx-replay protection from BCH.

Notable events:
At block height 552393, Bitcoin Core mined the biggest ever block with size 7,999,183 bytes (bigger than any BCH block).

What continent? There are already beefy machines on the network.

Try adding extra nodes from https://bitnodes.earn.com/nodes/?q=Bitcoin Core SQ:0.16.1 (https://bitnodes.earn.com/nodes/?q=Bitcoin Core SQ:0.16.1) depending on your location

e.g. for US:
Quote
clashic-cli addnode 172.110.30.38:10333
or EU
Quote
clashic-cli addnode 51.15.4.174:10333
or Asia/Singapore
Quote
clashic-cli addnode 139.99.121.9:10333
There are a lot available.

;D

Is this a fork of Bitcoin or Bitcoincash??
Technically everything is fork of Bitcoin, but if we want to be precise.
In November Bitcoincash hard-forked away and Bitcoin Clashic was born.
Now we add tx-replay protection and other goodies and forked from Clashic to Bitcoin Core.
I know, right? It's pretty genius  :D

How is this better than BTC or Bitcoin cash it doesn't show a comparison anywhere??
We'll prepare an inforgraphic on that, but nothing is better than BTC :P

However when comparing BTCC to Bitcoin cash: we have the biggest mined block ever and we discarded the new OPCODEs since they are not part of the True Vision (tm)  ;)
We have the 2nd best PR team promoting Bitcoin Core: https://twitter.com/BitcoinCore_/status/1001153035530375168 and we've been mentioned multiple times on CNBC's Fast Money show.

People get kicked out of Telegram for asking normal questions. Like if BCH or BTC is faster than BTCC.

So I don't trust this company anymore. I think it is pathetic and untrustworthy to kick people out because of asking normal questions. Not even derogatory questions.

Is BTCC faster in speed, and lower in transaction cost than BCH and BTC??? Anyone??

At the moment all 3 have same speed, but there is a soon-to-be-announced roadmap that will show how this will change.
As for the transaction costs, Using the logic of some BCHers like Ver, the BTCC is more than 120x cheaper to transact than BCH in fiat terms.
BTCC also has in plans a clever way to reduce the fees by more than 2 order of magnitudes.
The team currently works on polishing processes before going back to R&D and working on that innovative on-chain scaling.
All these without corrupted billionaires and scammers (Bitmain, Jihan Wu, Calvin Arye, Faketoshi & Ver).
This is by the people, for the people.

By the way, there is no company, this is a completely decentralized cooperation of passionate volunteers about sending a message and giving power to truly decentralized development without bribes from companies/corporations and corrupted/egomaniac people.

Presenting Bitcoin Core (BTCC)

Bitcoin Core (BTCC)

Bitcoin Core .
Bitcoin Core

Distribution:

chainspl.it 正确表述了这个币的历史:

I haven't been watching since the start, but I didn't notice any drama.

Imo just ask any questions you have.

Indeed, I or any member of the community will be glad to try to answer to the best of my knowledge and abilities.

This is about sending multiple messages and doing on-chain scaling in a non-scammy/shady way in contrast to many other forks that were abused by powerful people.
I was glad to find many other people feel the same way, wanting to see on-chain scaling but without the bad characters and shady or cringy practices.

It's quite refreshing to see first-hand the passion of all the people that contribute to the project, without "Foundations", "Enterprise Alliances", "Big Weathy Backers", just using and advancing tech with the main goal the supercharging of the on-chain capabilities in a truly decentralized fashion.

PSA: It has come to our attention that there's a ERC20 token called Bitcoin Core / BTCC.
It's obviously an unrelated token to the real Bitcoin Core (BTCC) which has its own blockchain forked from Bitcoin Clashic et al.

Please spread the word.
Thank you

I like the way this has been put in a funny way I really do because it lures people in and satisfy them but maybe the fact that everyone is seeing people are complaining about your telegram channel can harm you so maybe you should take precautions and be more gentle and understanding.. Other than that I really hope the best of luck for you because this is promising, indeed.

Since it was Bitcoin, then BCH/BCL and now BTCC, the blockchain was always publicly mined by a multitude of people.
- If you had BTC on block #478558 and haven't spent them before later forks, your coins are present on BTCC.
- If you had BCH on block #504031 and haven't spent them before later forks, your coins are present on BTCC.
- If you had BCL/BCHC on block #576697, your coins are present on BTCC.
No changes were done on the coin supply or distribution. BTCC had and follows the normal mining of a blockchain, no airdrops etc.

What does it mean "haven't spent them before later forks"? As long as one has the private key at those specific blocks, it shouldn't matter if the coins were spent later, unless the private key became compromised?

True, it's kinda difficult to explain all the cases for the previous forks, but tl;dr if you had BCL on block #576697, you have post-fork BTCC too.

The tricky thing is for example if you had BTC on #478558 but then spent the post-fork BCH before block #504031, then you wouldn't have BCL or BTCC.

If I understood it well what is explained on opening page that owing directly Bitcoin doesn't make you qualify for the forked coins, am I right ? I have seen good publicity on CNBC as mentioned in the title and also some well known people who were behind previous forks also promoted and marketed BTCC over the past few months. I will be following this one.

It depends at what time you owned Bitcoin.

- If you had BTC on block #478558, then you got BCH after that hardfork.
- If you had BCH on block #504031 then you got BCL (Clashic) after that hardfork.
- If you had BCL on block #576697, then you got BTCC (Bitcoin Core).

Cheers

Why don't you make this simple to understand that who had BCL at that specific block number will receive the coins. For example I had Bitcoins and also got BCH but BTC remained same while I dumped BCH when I saw good price. This thing cut off my way to get BTCC for good. That means most of the people will have to buy simply.

The hardfork has already happened a few weeks ago or so. So if you had BCL (Clashic) on block #576697, that means that you now have BTCC (Bitcoin Core) too  :)

It is the only way to qualify for forked coins, but I am skeptical whether many people will really buy BTC to get this fork. It's not getting people as excited as it did when the first forks came out.

The hardfork happened 4 weeks ago so people won't buy BTC for this specific reason.
BTCC however has a mission of going back to the core values with focus on on-chain scaling and privacy.
Since the launch the devs have been working on R&D the different options and soon will publish them for peer-review.

You're one of the few cryptocurrency projects that I can follow with a smile on my face, and yet still know you're being serious.

That said, am I the only one here that feels like half the people commenting here hasn't really noticed the humor that's weaved in just about everything there is in this project? (Not saying you're a joke, just that I see the fun you're having while actually doing something pretty serious).

Note: Since shunning obsolete versions going into the hardfork we have lost capabilities of Bitnodes via:
https://bitnodes.earn.com/nodes/?q=Bitcoin+Core

There is nothing wrong with the Bitcoin Core full nodes, they are operating as expected.
Bitnodes (Earn/Coinbase) was asked a week in advanced to update their protocol_version of crawlers to 80030.
Since they have not complied, they are unable to properly query the nodes because of forced disconnect.
All upgraded nodes show a height of 0, and many have been removed from listing.

We will be forking bitnodes repo on to bitnodes.thebitcoincore.org. We will put up on Announce post when this has been completed.

Being a fork of Bitcoin ABC project, which is a fork of Bitcoin project, it comes robust design by default. Over 99% of the codebase is authored by Bitcoin contributors. On testnet we have tested a variety of selfish miner scenarios of hash rate coming in at 200x and leaving with 1x. On mainnet we have had turbomining under the Bitcoin Clashic time period where blocks were sometimes mined seconds apart. During the Clashic era we also had numerous back to back 8MB blocks as transactions were replayed from Bitcoin Cash.

Nothing beats real world load, but we feel cautiously optimistic that the modifications from Bitcoin ABC 0.14.6. 0.15.0, 0.15.1, Bitcoin Clashic ABCD 16.1, Bitcoin Core SQ 0.16.1, 0.16.2 does not impact performance from the point the codebase was forked from Bitcoin.

We agree with the consensus on $BCH, there is nowhere near the innovation that $BTC has.
It appears centrally controlled and planned by a few rich people. Most of them are not technologists, but businessmen and marketers.
Which means they take away from the spirit of the cryptocurrency movement.

We expect their communities to keep splintering off as they are the confrontational and paranoid side that left $BTC.
Those individuals will continue to wrestle for control amongst each other.

$BTCC embodies the original spirit of the cryptocurrency movement. Decentralization and further protocol enhancements. Rather than compete with $BTC we plan to compliment it.
Our team will incorporate high risk, high gain features that are difficult to get consensus for $BTC. We hope as we iron out the kinks, it will help the $BTC community come together on the features that matter most.

Please see the roadmap on https://thebitcoincore.org/ (https://thebitcoincore.org/)

Since this coin came out those stopped mentioning it, people were quoting Bitcoin core in almost every tweet. I think the purpose has achieved with its creation that's why no further movement was seen. I mean listing on exchanges and CMC if free marketing was continuing then these were necessary. It has gotten all strategic goals successfully.

Mind to explain what is happening? There is BTCC on crypto-bridge, and I see some ongoing conversions/forks/algo changes/omni and other bullshit. What is going on?

Our former marketing contributor MoneyTrigz has control of the old Bitcoin Core $BTCC Telegram and Twitter @BitcoinCore_
The team agreed to rebrand the Bitcoin Clashic project to Bitcoin Core last year.
The goal was to come to aid against those who were trying to co-op the Bitcoin name and dub it "Bitcoin Core" as if there was an even split with Bitcoin Cash.

But it turns out Roger Ver doesn't care about MoneyTrigz's campaigns against him and most certainly the honey badger known as Bitcoin don't care either.
For some time the team has wanted to revert the branding and move on.
Sometimes trying to go separate ways can get ugly and public, when it should be simple.

MoneyTrigz claims to be creating an Omni Layer token with the name Bitcoin Core and Symbol $BTCC. He claims to get the airdrop you must sell the onchain coin, and show proof of sale to get his token. DYOR. The 3 supporting exchanges moving with onchain coin which will eventually be $TNET. His token will not be honored anywhere and will have a low float judging by the sales happening. He could decide to create a trillion tokens and airdrop as he sees fit.

Title Network will initially support sha256 PoW and switch consensus to Blake2b at a prescribed height with the new wallet. It is not a new coin. It's same coin since Bitcoin Clashic. But with 1-min blocks, 30-period DAA, Blake2b PoW and other new features coming in subsequent releases.

What about block reward? What about tail emission?

Same emission schedule as Bitcoin. But when we went 1-min blocks the rewards were cut to 1/10th or 1.25 coins. Next halving will be 0.625 coinbase reward.

NONE of the pools work for Asic Halong B-52
tried them all
https://miningpoolstats.stream/titlenetwork

Yes I triple checked all info
Awesome miner shows I can connect to some but pool won't accept shares
Nor does Zerge work same problem can connect but will not accept shares

Nor do any of the P2 pools above work. All links are dead pools

My machine works fine on SiaPrime
