Title: MINING LITECOINS Post by: twistelaar on January 28, 2014, 05:25:04 AM Hey people, If I want to start mining litecoins from lets say next monday, and I want to make sure I mine 8 coins a day, 8 months long.. how much do I need to invest in Hardware? thanks a lot
Title: Re: MINING LITECOINS Post by: breakbeater on January 28, 2014, 09:07:37 AM For 8 LTC/day you will need 20 MH/s and that is 26 x R9 280X GPU's, make the Math....
Title: Re: MINING LITECOINS Post by: maardein on January 28, 2014, 03:24:33 PM You can predict how many coins you will make tomorrow, maybe next month, but 8 months is extremely long in the cryptocurrency mining world. We don't know yet what the effect of scrypt asics will be, we don't know how the next generation graphics cards will perform etc. So predictions about your profits in 8 months are extremely uncertain.
Title: Re: MINING LITECOINS Post by: Bobsurplus on January 28, 2014, 03:27:01 PM Good luck. There's no way of telling where the diff will be in a month from now. So to figure out how much KHs you need to make 8 coins a day for 8 months is nearly impossible.
I mine with 10500 KHS and I make just over 3 coins a day.. for the last 5 days, it was less before the diff drop. Title: Re: MINING LITECOINS Post by: atp1916 on January 28, 2014, 04:10:02 PM It is a mistake to limit yourself to a singular coin. Do Middlecoin.
I've been gathering anywhere from .1 - .4 btc (rare, but happens!) a day with ~13.2mhs. Title: Re: MINING LITECOINS Post by: twistelaar on January 28, 2014, 04:11:45 PM thanks for the info. But for how what time can you tell that mining 8 coins a day is possible, like a month? or?
