Title: 5x GPU, is EVGA 1300W enough?
Post by: Chofoe on January 28, 2014, 12:44:29 PM
Hi,

I'm just wondering if this http://www.evga.com/products/pdf/120-G2-1300-XR.pdf (http://www.evga.com/products/pdf/120-G2-1300-XR.pdf) PSU is enough for 5x http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=1157&pid=1841&lid=1 (http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=1157&pid=1841&lid=1) ?

That EVGA power supply is really good and the other parts of the system are some really low power consuming components so shouldn't matter so much... Thanks for help!

A hot-clocked 7950 will do 250w as a worst case, so you should be fine.
