Teenage Hacker Transforms Web Into One Giant Bitcoin Network

Most people think of bitcoin as a form of money, if they think of bitcoin at all. But 19-year-old hacker Vitalik Buterin sees it as something more — much more. He sees it as a new way of building just about any internet application.

The bitcoin digital currency is driven by open source software that runs across thousands of machines around the globe. Borrowing code from this rather clever piece of software, independent hackers have already built applications such as the Twitter-style social network Twister, the encrypted e-mail alternative Bitmessage, and the unseizable domain name system Namecoin. But Buterin believes that many other applications can benefit from the genius of the bitcoin software, and that’s why he’s joining forces with several other hackers to create something called Ethereum.

Do you notice how in the article the 13 Terrorist European Bloodlines of the Devil worshipers cult Illuminati labeled him as "Teenage Hacker" and not as "Teenage Web Developer" ?

I'd rather be called a hacker than a boring developer, personally...

Kinda how the media labels most Muslim crimes as acts of terrorism. Nobody want's to read about bedroom web developers, but they do hackers.

Back in the day, given a option between something hacked together...

Good on him to expand on Bitcoin's reach.

And yes, "hacker" is definitely more sensational than "web developer"...

There's a lot of mental work that goes into scripting code.

There are a lot of geniuses out there. Yet geniuses often are such in one or two directions rather than in everything in life.

There are two basic positions that geniuses hold in life:
1. The successful genius;
2. The poverty-stricken genius.

Successful geniuses don't want to lose their success. So they often cause a monopolization of their field. That's why we have so many lies being told by professionals in all the professions, like the medical, who don't have much of an answer for curing anything, except their own poverty.

The poor geniuses are being stymied by the successful geniuses, except if they get on the bandwagon and try to strengthen the monopolies. Internet and Bitcoin scripting and hacking allow a genius in those area to be free. And it will until the governments and banks figure out ways to shut them down.

But consider. Scripting, whether it be ligit, or whether it be hacking, is not easy work. If it were, we all would have scripted our way out of poverty.

Any talk against a poor, genius scripter is an attempt to lock him into poverty while maintaining one's own monopoly.

:)
