Title: 1500 kh/s per day, earning only .015btc?
Post by: minerjosh on January 29, 2014, 12:47:43 AM
I'm averaging about 1500 kh/s per day on this one multi-pool, but earning only .015btc ($11-12).

Coinwarz profit calculator estimates with that I should be making $30 on doge or $20 on lotto coins.

But I'm only making half that or less....

Any advice?

Yes, I can help. forget Doge estimates, you will only make around 50% of what the pool or coinwarz says. I personally think doge pools skim. And second, don't take the top coin on coinwarz unless the 7 or 14 day average agrees, otherwise it is probably a fluke due to one or two trades artificially inflating the estimate. The estimate of $12 is not far off for 1.5 m/h, of what you should make on a coin already on an exchange. Now mine a new promising coin and you might make double that estimate whe it hits the exchange.

the reason why LOT is off is because of the random block rewards. As for DOGE, I think that the huge nethash is what causes estimates to be off. I noticed this when I mined FTC back in the days, you always earned less than what the estimate was.

Any recommendations for a good multi-pool?

Since you asked, middlecoin.com

Stay away from hashco.ws and others that announce the coins they are mining.
