If bitcointalk could become an OpenID identity provider, then our forum accounts could be used to log into bitcoin related sites. It would be useful for identity management, and transferring trust across the net. Any chance this could happen? It's also good because trust is an important factor in a lot of Bitcoin-related services, given it has to do with money, and forum reputations can be trusted to some degree.

The reputation of the security of this forum has been flaky, at best. Please, please use a different, preferably auto-generated password for all bitcoin-related sites. Making it (optionally) an OpenID consumer would be ok. |
