Participate in the CGS bounty program and earn up to $60 in CGS tokens  (400 CGS tokens). The Coin Governance System is currently working on the Kovan Testnet of Ethereum. Install Metamask (https://metamask.io/) to login and try the CGS yourself!

The bounty program rewards all people trying the testnet of Coin Governance System: the more features you try, the more tokens you’ll be able to earn.

A maximum of 1.5% of the total supply of CGS tokens issued will be allocated for the Bounty Testnet Program (up to 1,500,000 CGS tokens if hard cap is reached).

There are two roles, you can try both on our testnet: the role of "ICO Token Holder" and the role of "CGS Arbiter".


Each role allows different actions to do on our testnet:

As an “ICO Token Holder” you can:

• Open a claim if you are not happy about how the project is being managed
• Redeem your ICO Tokens and receive back the remaining ETH in the Coin Governance System, if the claim is approved by the CGS Arbiters
• Cashout the ICO Tokens that you’ve deposited to open a claim (at the end of the process)

As a “CGS Arbiter” you can:

• Vote on open claims using your CGS tokens: you’ll be asked if you think the project is doing a proper use of the funds or not
• Reveal your vote once the voting period is over, by introducing your secret passphrase
• Withdraw your CGS token balance after the vote is settled. If you voted right, you’ll earn CGS tokens, if you voted wrong, you will lose some

You can fill out the form to participate until the ICO starts (expected to be 01/07/2018). Once you've signed up to participate you have until the end of the ICO to try out the different features. Remember that the more features you try, the more tokens you can earn!

I find it weird that I can´t see other potential-claims. I tried to open a claim on the Iron Man Suit staking 450 tokens. But I need 6k tokens to open a claim... maybe other people agree with me and would like to stake their tokens up to the 6k, but they dont know (at least I think they don´t) that I tried to open a claim.

Obviously, being testnet I could just stake 6k tokens, but in the future?

In the Iron Man project 6.000 tokens are needed for a claim to be opened, within the project you can see how much other people staked for the claim:
you'll see "claim deposit" and "deposited".
Under "claim deposit" you can see the amount of tokens needed for a claim to be opened, under "deposited" you can see how much tokens have been deposited by ICO token holders so far. 

In the future, once the CGS moves to mainnet, it will be with real ICOs and therefore, those who stake tokens to open a claim, are actually investors of the ICO people that bought the tokens that aren't happy with the progress of the project. They will most likely promote their claim to have other token holders support it.

Excited to be part of this project, hope it goes live soon and be implemented in real world.

 The amount of CGS Tokens that will be set in the first version of the Coin Governance System will
be 0 in future versions this amount will be voted among the CGS holders.
If the ICO launcher decides to use the Coin Governance System once his ICO has started  he could
deploy the CGS smart contract later  moving the funds raised in the ICO manually. However  it
creates a point of friction  since during a certain period of time, the ICO launcher will have control over
the whole raised funds.

With the tokens locked in the scrow CGS Token holders will vote about whether to allow the withdrawal of the funds in the escrow contract. With this voting system it would be the decentralized arbiter who would judge if the interests and incentives of the ICO launcher and the token buyers are still aligned when deciding whether to enable ICO Token holders to withdraw their funds.

The concept looks good. Governance is much needed in this space for fund recovery (even if partial) for investors on detection of scams. Just signed up for the test net program. If this works out, it could be a game changer. Typically, escrow services are built on trust. But an escrow smart contract would be so much better and easier to trust.

Hi trandongnhat, you have to use Metamask on the Kovan network. To do it:
- Click on the Metamask fox on your browser
- At the top left of the Metamask pop-up, click on "Main Ethereum Network"
- From the menu, choose "Kovan Test Network"

And that's all. Now make sure to read the tutorial to know of to request Kovan Ether and  use the platform.

Hey! At the moment you can't try the CGS testnet on your Iphone, due to the fact that metamask doesn't work on mobile phones and is needed in order to sign all transactions on the CGS testnet.

Yes, all arbiters need to reveal their votes for them to count. So basically, first step is to vote using CGS tokens, than you have to wait (in the case of the testnet) one day to reveal your vote, than your vote counts. One day after this, you can withdraw your CGS tokens you've used to vote +/- those you have won/lost in the voting process.

Hi, you'll find the project's information on the web itself and from that you can do research on whether you think they're progressing correctly or not.
Once we move the testnet to mainnet with real ICOs on it, you'll also be able to see what people comment under the claims to find our the reason why the claim got opened, also launchers can comment on it. In our communication channels you'll be able to follow claims too. A
t the same time, once real ICOs are on it, we expect both ico token holders as launchers to defend their arguments on why they're right, using a variety of communication channels.

Hi, you can join this bounty until our ICO starts (mid september). Once the ICO start, you can still complete you tasks but we don't accept new applications to participate.

Good question, its based on smart contracts: the funds that are raised by an ICO that implements the CGS are held in an escrow smart contract and released gradually to him. If token holders are not happy at a certain point, they can go to the CGS and redeem their tokens and recover the funds left in the escrow smart contract.

Hi! We will anounce our advisors shortly. Also, we're building up a community of ICO Experts (https://cgs.vote/ico-expert-community/) that joined our movement. The CGS MVP is working on ethereum kovan and we've invited the blockchain/ico community to try it and give us feedback. For trying the CGS testnet out, users will get up to $60 in CGS.

We're reviewing the incoming feedback to improve our system. We expect to move the CGS from Kovan to Mainnet in September and also distribute our token by an ICO in that same month!

Prevention of scams/bad projects is very needed in the ico space.. when is the deadline to have tried the features of the testnet to earn tokens?

Right now, on testnet, you can check the page periodically or open a claim yourself if you want to test it.
Once the site is launched to mainnet, there will be notifications.

I've tried some features of the testnet, I like the fact that the product is actually working, not so common. However, I think UX should be improved a bit. For example, the projects information is a bit hard to read and I don't understand when I'm executing each role. When is the mainnet launch?
