I think that you can try (the coin has fallen strongly from the previous maximum), but one factor will be taken into account - this coin hackers has been hacked twice by the hacker, and this may still happen again.

If it's red, then why not?
I'm not very bullish on that coin though.

XVG has a lot of bad news so its current value is pretty low. If you want to invest in this period I think investors should keep a portion of the capital to DCA if it continues to decline, which is necessary in the market period fluctuate as today.

No one is forcing you though. Verge is in the  top  100 of the coincap, its not as interesting  to me besides its anon features. Whatever can be the reason why this coin will surge up,  might be new creative feature. Why not BCN, its a lot cheaper and you ca collect more of it than what you can bet with  verge. I don't think verge can go higher value as last year, because the marketcap of verge is very high now and because of that it triggers for that coin to pump at it's moon pump. The best to buy now is the new coin that has a potential and has a low marketcap.

I think Verge is a bit of a joke coin, and will, my opinion, be replaced at some point.

but long term, don't hold Verge!

Now Verge is low price but wait fed days then invest because its seems reducing the price so better wait and invest if you want invest now then also good because Verge is on of the good coin in crypto market

Don't get fooled by this. Verge's strongest asset was always its community, and this is not a good thing. I've been part of the community when Verge had its DogecoinDark --> Verge rebrand and the aftermath.

Those who saw it bought DogecoinDark for 3-5 sats and after the rebrand, Verge shot up to 40-50 sats.

It was glorious back then, Poloniex was the exchange to be, so it got bombarded by Verge shills demanding a listing, so much in fact, that they made a public statement, essentially saying "we got it, you can stop now". They didn't list it. After a few minor pumps, Verge bled out, people left the community (including myself) and it got quiet around it. After a few months, it hit 1 sat.

Here's the point: Verge is volatile as fuck. It went all the way back to 1 sat once, even though it had a supposedly loyal and vibrant community. It can go back there no problem, especially since it has no technical upsides over other coins. I know, the "Vergefam" doesn't want to hear this, but Verge is "different" at best, not "better".

If you apply risk management, you'll see that there is not too much upside, but a lot of downside. Back to ATH is a mere 4x, while Verge went all the way back to 1 sat before. Even if you interpolate this and say, it went from around 50 sat to 1 sat, if you apply the ratio, this means it might go back all the way to 40-50 sat.

Here's my personal stance, this is not advise:

I don't like Verge's approach with sucking up to companies on a dev level. I also don't think they deliver anything new to the cryptocurrency space. It is a shitcoin and always will be.
But that doesn't mean it is not tradeable. I knew it was a shitcoin back when I bought DogecoinDark.
However, at the moment, the risk/reward ratio is off for me. I will buy a small position when it hits two digit satoshi values again, and maybe a bit more, should it go back to single digits. And since this may well be the death of that coin, I will put it away and forget its existence, until for whatever reason, some Verge whale pumps it in the stratosphere, I can load off, give it the finger and move on.

Verge is one of the best coin available in today's market. Verge price now is very low compare to last few month. So I think, it is good time to purchase verge coin now

ı dont think verge is a best coin,  but may be is a good shitcoin for tarade..

In general, the XVG coin is undervalued. Emission is less than that of stellar and cardano, and the price is also much lower. A promising coin, especially given the increasing pressure from regulators of different countries. For long-term growth, in my opinion, rather early, but somewhere from the current levels or a little lower, I expect that the market will go up.

I think that the price is quite good, the coin is very promising and its price is now very low compared with the maximum values.

One day verge will be in the top 10. I believe in its tech. And the growth it had in the past.

I'm actually very interested in buying every coin, but for coins that rank less good make us bored. Because coins growth is very slow.

indeed now is the time to buy coins because now all the coins are down and you can pick the coins that you think can be profitable.

For anyone who still believes in verge and that the coin will come out of this then this is the time to buy. Verge is having a very bad year so far. The recent hacks have just made the price plummet, that coupled with the bear market we are in just made it the primetime for you to buy as much verge as you can afford, because this is bottom, so up is the only way left.
