Announcing a weekly contest for best community project as judged by staff of the Mastercoin Foundation.  So therefor the project has to have something to do with Mastercoin or Master Protocol, Smart Contracts or other features of the Master Protocol.

*** EDIT:  the thing you submit actually has to be available for use by the PUBLIC even if it is not working 100%, we want real stuff not just ideas and mock ups ***

*** EDIT 2: there must be at least 2 real worked on projects submitted in a week for the prize to get awarded.  If there is one 1 then it will roll over until a week when at least 1 more project that actually has been worked on is submitted ***

How does it work?  Every Friday you or your group submit a project for consideration.

If you are the winner you will be paid $500 in Bitcoins plus dev MSC (so the total will be more than 500 USD) at the current exchange rate at the time of payout.  If your project did not get chosen don't worry you can submit it again the following week.

What are the criteria?

The criteria are open ended however you should show that what you have done is useful in some way, the best way to show usefulness is to have people endorsing your project (show votes, likes, tweets, sign ups, +1s,  etc) or using it.

thanks for the submission, besides the social media groups do you have some kind of website in Dutch perhaps?  I'm sure you have done a lot of work to set up the social media groups, but I would like to see how these have been leveraged to do some activity.

I want to share with you my little work.
I m from israel and lot's of people here interesting in the bitcoin economy, and actually for the new people that heard about in it feels like a crazy stuff , and exactly the same with Mastercoin!
So I decided to take care over the Hebrew Mastercoin WIKI and I launched it with a lot of information in Hebrew for the Israeli audience .
I tried to write it in a very non technical language so that the "normal" people will understand what is the Mastercoin and how they can take a part in.

ok here is the deal everyone maybe i was not clear in the post but the project has to be LIVE.  those are the ones that get awarded.  

so don't just submit. and you have to prove that you or your group actually did the work.  i'm going to extend this payout until I have at least 2 projects that I see were worked on that actually have something to do with mastercoin and work.

so far i only see the Hebrew Wiki mastercoin.  the faucet and the android app don't actually have anything for mastercoin, correct me if i am incorrect?

cool, thanks again for putting in the work without expecting anything, glad that we can award something to you!  the payments for everyone involved in mastercoin foundation usually happen at the end of the month and we use the previous day's 3 day average price of bitcoin on bitstamp so that it is not dependent on the time of day the accountant processes the payments.
