Title: Omnitude, English VeChain?
Post by: DamCryp on June 02, 2018, 02:44:45 PM
I recently invested in the ICO Omnitude a blockchain service project out of London looking to revolutionise eCommerce using blockchain technologies & ecosystems to address challenges around fraud, identity theft, supply chain & more it's been recently called the english Vechain, it only sold 30% of it's max cap which was 25 MM, making a 7.5 MM blockchain service play (might be 12.5MM since they're airdropping 5MM worth of tokens to ICO investors). Tokens will unlock soon and it was listed yesterday on IDEX under the ticker ECOM.
Does any one have a take on it? I personally think the ICO was handled quite, it has strong and very professional team; but would love to hear counter points as try to always continuously asses investments.

I would not compare Omnitude to VeChain. In their roadmap Omnitude Chain stands clearly out with the most projects to develop. Omnitude to me is an E-commerce project mostly. But frankly to me some of the projects in your roadmap do not fit to your main project on e-commerce/business, on which you should focus. I think about Omnitude Exchange, Omnitude IoT, Omnitude AI and Omnitude Application Builder. There are already lots of blockchains that want to build a DAPP platform, an exchange, IOT solutions or AI blockchains. The blockchain ecosystem is extremely competitive and generally on the internet the winner takes it all, so I think Omnitude should focus on different applications. An great E-commerce platform all-in-one solution is not yet on the market (please correct me if I am wrong).

Omnitude Loyal could fit into the E-commerce project as well. Omnitude ID, in which there is going to be a lot of development as well, to me is very interesting, even if I can't see an immediate correlation to Omnitude Chain. Maybe as an user authentication system to establish thrust for the interacting parties?
