Title: How to choose exchange. My experience
Post by: cryptolord2077 on June 02, 2018, 04:00:30 PM
Hello! I have been participating in the bounty since March this year. And I want to share my experience with the use of crypto-exchange exchanges.
At the moment, I have about 60 paid bounty coins (most are not yet traded, and I have already sold some). And about 80 coins with paid airdrops.

Let's start

1. https://www.binance.com/

The exchange on which I sold my first tokens. Exchange of high quality and high level of security. But it rarely happens on the listing of coins.

   Pros:
  • low commissions of trade
  • fast
  • intuitive interface
  • high level of security
  • large volumes

   Minuses:
  • little tokens we need, they do not often leaf it
  • commission for the withdrawal of at least 0,01 ETH, keep in mind if you want to merge a small amount

Conclusion: I recommend for constant trading

2. https://forkdelta.github.io/

Exchange fork etherdelta, they have one smart contract. The exchange is similar to a drain pit. Many of those coins that have not yet entered the normal exchanges are traded, usually not large volumes. The price is often much lower than the ICO. I prefer to use this exchange only as a last resort, it is better to wait for the coin to exit to a normal exchange and sell at a higher price.

   Pros:
  • low commissions
  • verification is not needed for withdraw
  • a lot of tokens

   Minuses:
  • no intuitive interface
  • sometimes slows down

Conclusion: I recommend in cases when you need to merge a coin into which you do not believe or buy cheaply the one in which you are sure.

3. https://idex.market/

One of my favorite exchanges. Good volumes. I would recommend that novices take a closer look at it. Of course, not without flaws.
   Pros:
  • low commissions
  • verification is not needed for output
  • a lot of tokens
  • good volumes
  • a fairly clear interface

   Minuses:
  • laggy, sometimes strongly
  • sometimes you have to wait for transactions
  • the minimum amount for an order  0.15 ETH (keep in mind at small volumes)

Conclusion: I recommend for constant trading

4. https://hitbtc.com/

Exchange with a suspicious reputation and good volumes. Personally, I have no problems with this exchange. I sold on it several types of coins, including the unsuccessfully sold MTC which is now very much increased in price.

   Pros:
  • verification is not needed for withdraw
  • a lot of tokens
  • good volumes
  • friendly interface
  • there is a demo version of the platform

   Minuses:
  • is very slow on the list of tokens
  • a lot of feedback about the delay and freeze of transactions
  • if the network is overloaded, there is a risk that ETH can hang for 4 weeks (they warn about it)

Conclusion: I recommend for trading carefully

5. https://www.kucoin.com/#/

KuCoin - the Hong Kong stock exchange Crypto-currency. Fast and safe.

   Pros:
  • a lot of currency pairs
  • fast
  • low commissions
  • friendly interface
  • verification is not needed to withdraw up to 2x BTC
  • mobile application
  • it is possible to receive income by storing  tokens on the balance

   Minuses:
  • not convenient graphs for analysis
  • the minimum commission for withdrawal 0,01 ETH

Conclusion: I recommend for constant trading

6. https://trade.qryptos.com/

The Japanese exchange of crypto currencies is known primarily as a large exchange operator QUOINEX. Does not support fiat currencies.
Registered for the sake of one coin, as a result of 3 weeks waiting for verification to withdraw.

   Pros:
  • low commissions

   Minuses:
  • verification is necessary for withdrawal (2-3 weeks)
  • no intuitive interface /li]
Conclusion: I do not recommend it. You can trade, but before the deposit go through verification.

[!] In all listed above exchanges there is a way of 2 factorial authorization ALWAYS use it!
[!] Add all exchanges to bookmarks, and never go from search engines!
[!] Three times double-check the purse number before deposit and withdrawal.

These are not all exchanges with which I happened to interact, the post will be updated.

Thank you for your attention.
Sorry for the mistakes in my English. I just want to share my experience.

Well, as a bounty hunter there's no better choice than decentralized one. But as a trader, I use Binance (because their beautiful UI, high level  security, no need KYC and the volume) and one of my local exchange 😂

There is no doubt that Binance is the best exchange i have ever used. i also use other exchanges among which Kucoin and HitBTC are also recommendable. I think Idex should try to work a little more on on the site, because it can be very slow in processing transactions sometimes. Although, this also happens to some big exchanges.
Folkdelta is another exchange that needs a lot of technical inputs. There are times some orders would have been executed, yet they will be shown as if they have not been executed. I think this needs to be worked upon.

My suggestion is binance. There are a lot of coins here, the biggest volume of transactions. If you hold a large number of coins, it is very convenient to sell here.

OP you sure have a lot of time for bounties. Just be sure to have a little time for yourself  ;D anyway the best exchanges I have been using are binance and kucoin. I have used hitbtc a few times, my problem with hitbtc is that it's very lag in my android, it takes 5sec or more for every action I made like clicking or inputing.

Binance is good exchanges everyone accepted but we should choose profitable and promising exchanges so we can pick some other trading site it will make profit. I think many traditional exchanges are really more convenient to sell in the altcoins and many new altcoins are occupy the more space in Binance so we should analyse the best platform then buying or selling the Cryptocurrency.

Here is not told about the Yobit stock exchange, but I advise you not to work with it. I have no words to describe my impressions, just trust me.

You wrote very briefly and all in fact. There is no unnecessary information.
Exchanges today appear as mushrooms after the rain. And this I'm not talking about different local ones that are geared towards a certain country, not the whole world. Even you in the description paid quite a lot of attention to two very young exchanges.
I like this trend and for me some old stock exchanges become irrelevant, but new ones are attracted by their interface and efficiency.

I would certainly not include forkdelta and qryptos in this list. One is unusable and the authorities are making a very late return. It reminded me of the situation before poloniaex was sold.

Thank you for this report on your experience with bounty campaigns. I have had similar experience with bounties such as Binance and others. I find that bounties with smaller pools of participants are much more rewarding

I do not recommend using it.(Hitbtc and qryptos) Because very bad exchane and qryptos does not always allow withdrawals.

If you are talking soecifically about the bounty humters that want to sell the reard tokens quickly i think they need only forkdelta and idex as these two exchange quickly lists the tokens, i do not know how you have posted the names of exchanges like binance, kucoin etc because they do not list a new token easily.

Binance is the best of all, due to its high security, beginners friendliness, and high volume, it's highly recommended for traders.
All centralized exchange are good and are highly secure such as Hitbtc, kucoin, and others.

As far as i know binance is good. Many coins are available there and the trade quantity also very large. It is effective for you sell your coin here.

Agrees with the entire list except the last exchange. She is not very comfortable and trades very badly there. And a long verification without which it is impossible to withdraw funds. I do not advise anyone on this exchange

For me forkdelta is like a place to buy and sell below the price of most the market price, and the fees is above the average, because however, the deposit and withdrawal fees following the recommend Gas & Gwei Price

And idex is very not recommended for constant trading, as you just said the minuses, its high laggy really disturbing

Kucoin, binance and idex. Idex instead of forkdelta.
That is what I chose from your list or whatI have been using since I started trading.
Others are messed up for me. Too many issues and one example is hitbtc. Like you saud it is for trading carefully. Why should I? Then I would rather pick the other ones instead of that trading platform.
Too many of that kind being created by now. Soon there will be much bigger.
Streamity could also be one, once they finished their ICO. Let us see.

Hitbtc has got some outrageous charges on withdrawal. Binance is well known and has earned its status as one of the best exchanges, evryone wants their coin to be listed on binance because of their volume. Trading is so fast and simple. I like cobinhood too, it's quite simple to use.

I do use binance a lot. They are good, but sometimes the main page gets extremely laggy. Probably due to the charts being constantly updated. I have seen many people reporting the same thing. I wouldn't say their fees are the best though. And the fixed withdrawal fee is something i don't actually like at all. Never heard of qryptos though. Might give that a try.

same here, after etherdelta, forkdelta has been launch, since then, I dont use it because of many issues that I experienced on etherdelta, I dont want the same experienced happen to me again.

According to me Binance is the very best option for exchanging. It is reliable and flexible. Most of the investors have a good experience regarding Binance. We can go for the different exchanges like hitbtc and kucoin. These two are also good. But I will prefer Binance than others but there are alternatives for the investors.

the main criteria that should be considered when choosing a trading platform are: -Reputation (before, to raise funds for an unfamiliar exchange, it is better to read reviews about it on forums such as bitcointalk or Reddit); -Commissions (each time buying and selling digital currency, the user pays a commission fee to the Exchange, it may differ on different sites, but on average it is 0.2%);-the number of trading pairs (some users prefer to trade high-liquidity cryptocurrencies from the "top-10", others - volatile and less liquid altcoyins).

You have done a fairly detailed description.
But I would add a note about Etherdelta.
- Several times this exchange has been attacked by hackers. Some people lost money.
- the exchange owners changed.
- there were some problems with the withdrawal of money.
In my opinion, newcomers should understand that there were many problems with this exchange and it is necessary to be more careful.

Thanks for sharing some words for those exchanges its a good starting point for newbies to choose what exchange is best for them. Im currently using binance, kucoin and hitbtc and so far I dont have any issues in using these exchanges they are not always smooth but not a major problem to be worried about. There are many reviews in google for each exchanges thus it wont be hard to decide if you're going to try them or not.

Out of all you listed, Binance remains the best. I have also noticed that bots trade on hitbtc, because i just imagine sometime how some transactions are executed. Kucoin is a young exchange site that follows after the footstep of Binance.

Nice review and its beautiful you got rewarded with merits. However as a bounty manager one has to use these decentralised exchange because it takes time for some of these tokens to be listed on centralised exchanges and if you need quick profit, you gotta sell. Also binance is almost everybody's favourite exchange.

The first thing to look in an exchange is how secure it is. Never compromise on the security aspect of an exchange. Then you should look if the order books on the exchange are liquid enough. And the most important thing is if the exchange requires verification or not. I personally never use an exchange that requires verification.

Binance is a good exchange, everyone is welcome but we have to choose profitable and promising exchanges so we can choose some other trading sites that will generate profits.

Binance and Kucoin are really good exchanges, but I have big concerns regarding others. Especially I wouldn't recommend to trade on HitBTC and IDEX. There were several cases when HitBTC blocked accounts without any notice or even stole tokens, so this exchange has a very bad reputation. Regarding IDEX, I can say that sometimes it takes several hours to deposit something on this exchange. It has so many bugs that I prefer to trade anywhere else but not on IDEX.

Hi

I will like to add the    c-patex.com   altcoin exchange.

Pros :

    Normal fees
    Fast withdraws
No minimum order size, you can get rid of all those cents around.
Ethereum , low deposit below 0,1 ETH allow.  witdraw fee 0,0005
Good support team, tickets ,telegram ....
Good opportunities for arbitrage and prices

Cons:
    Low volume
    Low history exchange 6 month

I prefer exchanges with high liquidity and volume. I wish all the lower alts were on binance or any of the top exchanges with good volume and liquidity. It is quite frustrating to trade on exchanges without volume. Orders just stay stagnant.

Great comparison is done, all your conclusions are absolutely the same with mine (according to those exchanges that we both have used). But still I prefer decetralized exchanges as they have so many tokens to trade, even if the trading volume is always less then on centralized ones (if we talk about one and the same token).

I use decentralized exchanges most of the time, especially ForkDelta. I have no issues with it at all. I like it because it's easy to sell coins that have not been listed on exchanges.

An informative post to read. It was totally worth my time and I think thi will help all a lot. Thank you for the article.

I agree with you, but I would also point the Fork Delta, this is an exchange, I believe most of the alternative cryptocurrencies are getting on from the beginning, and if you are directed to have your profits only, you will definitely have some interest in this particular exchange.

Sent out merit for the effort you do made on this post! Nice list by the way!

The thing i dont like for an exchange to be included is that where Hitbtc was on it but well this is just on personal preference but most of them mentioned are indeed one of the best exchange that be used on exclude hitbtc.
I dont like their deposit fees which is absent on other exchange they are much too greedy where they do imposes such changes but the rest hands down.

Thanks for the list, it worth attention. I would also like to add some pros/cons info about cex (https://cex.io/), just to make your list more complete. Though there are not so many altcoins, it is minus, but I like their credit and debit card support, as well as high limits for verified users.

Binance and Kucoin, I have no issue with them.  The deposit and withdrawal coinfirmation both are fast.  I avoid using Idex.

I am most active on Huobi and Binance. Kucoin just sometimes.

Today I heard about Qryptos.com for the first time also. Will check it out next days. There is also an airdrop going on right now if you have a verified account. 👌

Usually I use that exchange which on coinmarketcap shows in the first - the greatest volumes of the tenders, and in the second - the best price. At small volumes it is not very interesting to wait for movement.

The last 2 weeks for the sake of one coin I use the exchange - Hotbit. I am pleased and pleasantly surprised by the process of trading. Quickly, without delays, informative, good interface. While the withdrawal of funds did not. What are the possible problems - I can not say.

Much obliged for sharing a few words for those trades its a decent beginning stage for novices to pick what trade is best for them. Im right now utilizing binance, kucoin and hitbtc thus far I dont have any issues in utilizing these trades they are not constantly smooth but rather not a noteworthy issue to be stressed over. There are numerous surveys in google for every trade along these lines it wont be difficult to choose in case you will attempt them or not.

Recently, I just fell in love with decentralized exchanges. Almost always low deposit/withdraw fees, a large number of tokens and easy to use are the keys to success. Decentralized exchanges are the future (except IDEX). Almost any unnecessary garbage can be sold here, it is not hopeless.

I agree with those who are saying that the best exchanges have to be decentralized ones. It is like cryptocurrencies. They must by their nature be decentralized to avoid fraud, unexpected exclusion from centralized exchange, internal transactions and manipulations.

Thank you all for your answers. Soon I will write the second part of my experience with the exchanges, or I will update the current thread. At the moment coinbene.com is one of my favorite exchanges, there are very low commission for withdrawal and good volumes.

I began to use this exchange. Pretty nice and fast. I bought there a coin Seele it seems that it's worth it.

These are very good tips to choose the exchange. You give us very good review. from this explanation, we can be easy to analyze which exchange we are going to use in trading or other making transaction or investment. Exchange is one of the right way to make profits. If we are good on exchange, our chance to get profit is much higher.

Good analysis and comparison, I prefer trading on kucoin constantly because of the profit shares, this is my main exchange so far, I'm surprised you include Idex because they are limited to ethereum based token, but if you are heavily investing in erc20 token then this is the exchange to go.

Thanks for sharing! But sometimes the team can not go on best exchanges. And it makes the price lower. So my experience is having good decisions. Choose wisely before buying.

Between all that exchanges i prefer to chooce Binance and HITBTC because they offer low trading fee and also has feature of stop limit that we can use it for stop loss and trailling stop. All exchanges should be have this feature to minimize the risk from high fluctuacion of crypto.

I also like this exchange, but the latest news background around it is alarming.
