Dear AeriumX Community,

With the sudden notification of a pending delisting of AEX on Crypto-Bridge.org, we will be left with no exchange supporting AEX trading. We all have seen the excitement, momentum, (and price) dwindle this past year or so. It's come to a point that AEX needs to make some major changes to overcome development stagnation and the affects of this prolonged crypto winter.

The biggest change being considered right now is changing AeriumX's consensus algorithm to Proof of Capacity while keeping the rest of the PIVX codebade. For those not familiar with it, you can read the Burst wiki - https://burstwiki.org/en/proof-of-capacity/ . The goal here is to not only have the first PoC coin with Masternodes, but also tap into the currently growing PoC mining community.

Changing the consensus algorithm isn't going to do the trick all by itself. There are a lot of other aspects to consider, and we need input from the community. We will start by putting almost any options on the table..namely, opinions on any mixture of -

- Rebrand/Name Change
- Chain Fork
- Add Premine
- Chain Restart
- Dev Fund Increase

We will need funding one way or another, so we need to keep this in mind for team building, exchanges, etc. As for team building, when the time comes, we will be looking for community managers, system admins, designers, developers, developers, and marketers.

We are opening up discussion in #brainstorming, and are looking forward to what everyone has to say.

The swap from Aerium to AeriumX will be on the 4th of June 2018. All Aerium coin holders have 2 weeksâ€™ time to Swap to the new blockchain of AeriumX. Coins which are not Swapping during this time will stay on the old blockchain. There is no way to get them on the new blockchain of AeriumX after the 2-week time frame. Exchanges are not supporting the swap directly, you need to withdraw for participating on the swap. Staking Pools are supporting.
How to swap:
  1. You should download the new wallet below.

Also did a successful swap Through the telegram bot on an iPhone. Was fast and smooth. The low coin emission and burning of transaction fees should help keep the supply and value in check as they build out use cases.

project with an interesting concept. providing convenience in transactions in the world of blockchain. the terms of exchange from old coins to new coins are quite easy and can be followed. with bounty allocations that promise I think this project will succeed get a lot of investors. hopefully this project can run as expected.

You guys probably want to investigate the previous coin to this.

The predecessor coin, Aerium, was a skunkhash algo coin but more importantly it had hyperinflation properties (500%, 12500% APR on some block ranges and is probably sitting at 1000% APR ... think B3 coin)

Sooo what I'm saying is that before you decide to invest in this coin, consider the previous coin and it's effect on this coin. I feel that it's very skewed towards original Aerium holders

Thanks ITA, like that the price of the monthly masternode will be attached to cryptobridge. I will carry on using it for the future then. It was much easier to set up than the VPS was.

2k sat. price is NOT normal even on SE exchange Aerium coins sold at 50 sat last time before swap.
this means 50 sat. x 121 = 6k min. for AeriumX

I think the devs or team members sold at cheap prices the premined or swapping other ways AEX coins when listed on CB. No one can have in a short time 30-40K AEX coins by mining or swapping from Aerium.
No big miners care this coin to mine like big amount. And before the swap its price was at least 75 sat. on CB. they swapped 1:121 by old coins.
So by a simple math 75 sa. x 121 = 9K
But we saw some ppl sold them on CB (and still trying to sell) at 2-3K. If you have Aerium old coins at 9K how can you sell them as soon as when it listed on an exchange ?

This is not a stake coin anymore since the swap, so Stake United will not stake anything. I am also removing them right now from stake united. It is only a POW and MN coin.

I have been in the project for a few weeks now and just bought a few days before the swap... But seeing the situation as it is, I will sell my coins as Inflation is going nuts again. The supply went up from 1.3 Million Coins to 1.6 in only a few weeks since the swap. And with the large amount of Masternodes, the supply is rising faster and faster as more and more masternodes come in daily. >:(

I'm still surprised Aerium is still a thing. I guess is just people that got stuck and are holders until they can sell their bags to someone else. It's sad to see these coins that just transfer bag holders misery. Is not fair, the market needs useful projects and weed out the bad ones.

You need to save your wallet.dat after deleting the entire folder, download the latest version of the wallet, register the existing MN in the config, put your wallet.dat back, and run the wallet, wait for full synchronization and see your coins
